FT8-type digital makes sense for long-range comms, but D-STAR, DMR, etc. I think are really just about cramming us into less FM bandwidth, while controlling access. Bitcoiners' political tendency is lebertarianism. Small government because government and centralization tends to become evil. Seems fairly rational. Then missiles start flying and see many change to "why are you supporting that evil government cause they're more evil than this other evil government" in comments.
