I've mostly stacked for my wife. But after a failed #investment where she trusted her #bank to make her money, she put what was left in #bitcoin
Thanks to that, she made her money back (in fiat terms), and even a bit more. She's still hodling.
Yesterday, she told me the exchange she uses was fucking stupid.
She tried to stack sats for our son (bless her), without telling me.
But the bank account is under our son's name...
Of course, when she made the transfer, her account was frozen, money sent frozen, and she missed the dip. She was righteously pissed.
Fortunately, she got access back to everything, but she realized how stupid the rules are in fiat land.
Priceless.

I can't find it in the settings anymore, but I think it was supposed to optimize the size of the cashu tokens to reduce the size of the database.
BTW, I can see the sats are back in the wallet! So, it seems it worked after all. Maybe it needed a sync with the mint...

The news in itself is positive. But it shows how far from understanding #bitcoin some companies are.
Their communication should be adapted to the technology they're working on, not to some government token. It doesn't make sense.
