The number of blocks mined leading up to segwit looked night and day different compared to 110. Even 8 months out Segwit was getting 22%+ blocks per signaling period. 110 hasn't hit 1% in any signaling period yet.
You know BIP110 doesn't stop jpegs. You know it doesn't stop ordinals. You know it doesn't stop runes.
So what exactly do you see as the benefit? Sheer quantity of data?
Honestly curious because I don't see the vast majority of that data sticking around once fees get off the floor anyway. Or even likely to get back to 2022/23 levels given that the NFT scamming has mostly run its course. And of course even then, the fee market did its job.
I try to come around, but the future is so retarded that I just turn back 😂

Still feels extremely slow, but figured it was some such thing
I haven't read much in the past couple years for this reason. But also I just wanted to take a rest from jamming my head with new information.
No thanks. I'm living in the future. You'll come around, eventually
As far as I understand it it's just a personal local backup, but I remember someone saying it could actually be used as an inbox relay for DMs, unless my memory is flawed. That said, I think there's also a more recent "relay in a phone" app, but can't remember its name
This might be the first time this sticks. Thank you

Shut up shut up shut up!!
We will discuss after a few more answers. I may have a followup question.
While streaming today , someone said they want to hear my real voice!
Is this some secret code because they secretly don't like my voice! or what?
Today! I am changing my voice! not because people don't like my voice but because I decided I want to!
Stay tuned, for a preview of my new voice!

The BIP-110 Ghost That Won't Die—The Saga Continues
Last week I told you BIP-110 was dead. **0.31% hashpower. 2% node support. A proposal so rejected it made the 2017 blocksize wars look like a polite disagreement.** Then July 9 happened—and 17 mysterious blocks suddenly signaled support, triggering automatic monitoring alerts across the network. **Luke Dashjr just declared it's "too late to cancel," while Michael Saylor insists Bitcoin has "no spam problem" with fees at $0.30. The August deadline isn't just approaching—it's becoming a countdown to either a network split or the most humiliating governance defeat in Bitcoin's history.**

Bitcoin’s Real Enemy Isn’t Strategy—It’s the Banks, JPMorgan Just Admitted
You’ve been watching the wrong villain. While everyone panicked over Strategy’s $216 million Bitcoin sale, JPMorgan just dropped a bombshell that changes everything you thought you knew about Bitcoin’s biggest threat. Here’s what they said—and why it might be the most important thing you read all week.

Because it is an induction charger. No direct wires just forcing the current into it by dragging magnetic fields around.
Thanks bro.
One last nugget. Don't be stupid like me. Let me tell you a little story...
Back in the bitconnect days, my dealer was all excited about their yield. I said fine, let me take a real quick look. Because I saw that their yield was greater than the actual mining rate I concluded it's a scam. I've corrected spotted the fraud but didn't look further into what bitcoin was.
Same here, just because churches are gay and whatnot, you're disregarding a valuable collection of books aka the Bible. Be smarter than me and inquire further.
This will be so funny in a few years I bet. 😅

I just can't take the thought of forcing a circular economy on any place within the 1st world seriously. Circular economies work great, and exist today, in places where the money is broken.
Check out the profiles from each of the circular economies on FCBE.io for a few minutes and you'll catch the vibe easily; those in places with strong fiat and banks are just cute little 'hopes & prayers' projects. All of those across africa and other places with bad or no banks are flourishing. It's just that simple.
To be fair the world became much more noisier, it's harder to maintain that habit without gearing up for that.
Once again changing my hair made me invisible.
I was out for a walk this morning and ran into a neighbour from down the street in the park. She stopped to say hello and pet Mosha, then asked me what happened to the other guy who used to walk her, with the long hair and moustache 😂 she was surprised I'm the same man 🤣

I’m still trying to figure all this out between Primal and Nostr. It seems like a slick client but I’m not sure what I’m actually getting access to on the broader Nostr network.
Because you're being scammed. Use a wooden stick with bristles.
Damm, it's as if they inspired to write this law after reading 1984.
