Yeah, I really think this requires torrents. Decentralized video hosting. There is a way to make it work. People could pay to host their videos. People who run torrent seed boxes could get paid, ensuring there were sources available, all it would take is a vps, maybe even an app for Umbrel & start9.
Video hosting is a huge problem, and it could be solved with torrents & lightning I'm sure. I used to run a seed box for years when I was on private torrent trackers. I would again in an instant if there was the possibility of earning sats.

Fun night at work 😂 Had about 10 homeless set up camp in front of my store. Bags, bikes, etc everywhere, leaving a small path for customers to get to the front door. I'm the only business open on the block at this hour, and the rest of the sidewalk was clear, fwiw.
I asked them politely to leave, but they declined, preferring to talk back and threaten to vandalize the store. Politeness went out the window immediately. Thankfully, I have a large frame, a booming voice, and DGAF. Once I advanced on them, and made it clear that they should GET THE FUCK OUT, they moved along pretty quickly. The key there was clear, consise, one way communication, loudly. ALL CAPS works IRL too.
That's done now though, in the past. I'm gonna have beers, joints, and cuddle with my dog now.

All I did was enabled listening for new connections in the settings, then it worked.
To use it, go to the permissions screen. Click the add button, then add a new app. It will give you a bunker URL, and you can name it. Use that URL to login.

Log into the site. I used the Alby extension. Amber nsec Bunker should work too.
For any set of icons you want, click the option button, then bookmark. Now it should show up in the emoji editing screen in amethyst.
