So the Facebook “friends”yesterday who posted admiration for Charlie Kirk all had this in common. They were white straight men with gay clientele who said they are gay “allies”.
Real straight male allies are beautiful. But there has always been a few straight men who pretend to be allies for money.

So how can America move forward in this sharply divided country, where Project 2025 will be mostly in place by the midterms?
What makes practical sense to me is that we try to devolve as much power and responsibility to the 50 states as possible, and then let people sort themselves into a state that works for them.

Some people have a problem with the term “soft-secession”. I like the term “dynamic federalism”.
In this post “big bill”, Project 2025 world, “dynamic federalism” means states looking forward and building new compacts that work for them.
We may as well make the best of this.
