I remember a history teacher saying, “when Iowa housewives turned against the Vietnam War, then it was inevitable we would end it.”
This feels like a 1970 Kent State Univ. massacre moment.
When enough white Americans turn against government authoritarianism/fascism, then things start to shift.
We don’t need all the Trump/MAGA cultists to wake up — just enough white Americans to see this as their struggle too. It shouldn’t be this way, but that has been American history.
