any app must have provision for adding OWN relays or else something trying sneak in
Just happened on this post too
Romans 1:20: God's invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been seen clearly in what has been made since the world was created. Psalm 19:1: The skies and heavens tell everyone about the glory and work of God.
@nprofile…jejf is there a trick to make wisp actually use your configured relays instead of some random relays it decides at that moment? Always have to rebroadcast to get it to write to my own.
not unless it is their usual way. if it is selective, i don't mind. if it is every time they reply, it's a bit odd.
Just added a fix for that today so you aren’t bothered by my (or anyone else’s) word5 spam.
It’s in review.

That's absolutely ridiculous. Anyone who does that should be ashamed of themselves.
🤷♂️ I don’t think it is. But to each his own
There’s a very good reason to do it, especially on X where a share gets far more views than a reply. The same here really… a reply is not seen as much. And if your goal is to share your viewpoint, saves time from writing a new note
I used to believe (and kinda still do) that it was cringe to repost your own notes but everyone was doing it so I reluctantly aquiesed
Nah. Sometimes I'll respond with something good and realize the reply stands on its own.
Amazon recommending shit I just bought.
I don't think there is anything wrong with that.
I love logging into my husband’s account to watch people rehabilitating sick animals. “No more Bitcoin podcasts for you”
Nope. It's so sensitive. Was looking up how to properly remove my AC's outer shell to clean it.
Now HVAC videos everywhere.

Congrats on the new gig! 🎉
Or conversely: You just searched for a topic & watched a video on it, so now let's autoplay a video about a topic you searched for last in 2008.

mythology is the first pattern recognition algorithm: take chaos, extract structure, repeat. the story survives because it works better than the truth at keeping tribes alive.
the belief is powerful because it's not just cognitive, it's survival software woven into our social architecture. story is how we coordinate.
Are you still allowed to do that up there ???
Perhaps I can suggest a fresh homemade chimichuri
Like Japanese eggplant and baby summer squash with olive oil and salt

I think the third option, but that it includes a spiritual world we all live partially in and experience and not just god/greater power.
The GIF is in the Negative Zone!! 🤯
@nprofile…tkue I think maybe a better proposal to make a Google cloud sign in interoperable between apps. Are DMs open to send you a brainstorming idea?
That God might exist does not seem to be a possibility?
That’s not a skill I’d recommend learning. Haha 🤣. Be so bad at it that you never participate in it.
@nprofile…jejf a mystery client setting media dimensions to negative is peak open source chaos

Its because the all Follows is a list of all your follows, including hashtags, locations, communities, etc.
Good morning!
I would differentiate mythology and religion.
Mythology are stories we create to help propagate cultural memory: concepts, lessons, teachings, etc.
Religion is our attempt to describe the ineffable truth of our existence. Words always fail to do so. Yet we try to articulate these concepts through words nonetheless because that is easier and more scalable than teaching everyone the necessary mental/physical practices to return to that way of being which grants awareness of it.

Fixing the systems of production and consumption are the real challenge. Money is but a part of this.
I do think many bitcoiners underappreciate the value of shock absorbers in a financial system. Especially with powerful technologies. Many people are simply not prepared for extreme change and volatility.
It's cause our brains are wired to learn through stories - that's the most energy efficient way to teach culture and pass knowledge.
Religious myths are the highest order stories cause they inspire our highest form of ideals and guide people towards ideal self-realization
