You save in Bitcoin to preserve purchasing power. To purchase what? What is the end goal? If you have no end goal then there is no logic behind what you are doing. I also hold Bitcoin, but my 1 acre homestead in a cohesive and cooperative community is a better hedge against future uncertainty than owning Bitcoin while living in an apartment. The renter class is the most vulnerable to economic upheaval.

Everyone who has managed to buy a house on a fixed interest mortgage below about 3.5% has successfully hacked the economy, because it's the perfect inflation hedge. You get the bank to put up cash for a deed up front. That cash will be worth less in the future. Inflation drives up the price of your house while diminishing the real value of your mortgage balance over time. You pay back dollars that are worth less every year.
