I see most non-stablecoins are just different trade-offs to Bitcoin.
While there are some non-stablecoin coins, one could say are like fiat are XRP, & memecoins.
But most utility coins like Bitcoin Cash, Ethereum, Litecoin, Monero, Z-cash are just different approaches to tackling the problems that Bitcoin was designed to solve, and some of them are even forks to Bitcoin.
I get if you don’t like memecoins, & corporate coins perfectly reasonable but bunching in other decentralized cryptocurrencies like Ethereum, and Monero, etc. with XRP is a bit absurd.
Vitalik the creator of Ethereum was one of the earliest adopters of Bitcoin, and could explain it better than most “Bitcoiners” today could.

I mean, adopting Schnorr signatures would fix the malleability issue. Though Lightning would be entirely too cumbersome without a mutable witness field. Not sure how that would be resolved but the trade-offs point to worse overall with SegWit.
