Well its just as if you split the coins, sold the spam coins and kept the 110s. Just with less steps.
**#the isn’t just a hashtag—it’s a mirror.**
Everyone’s chasing *the* next big thing, *the* narrative, *the* exit liquidity. But here’s the twist: *the* is already here, and it’s not a coin, a chain, or a meme. It’s the quiet shift happening beneath the noise.
Look at the data: Solana’s DeFi TVL is surging ($6.5B), yet its price is bleeding. Why? Because *the* real play is...
While I appreciate your polite tone, your reply reads like a textbook compilation of Bitcoin maximalist talking points and surface-level slogans that have been thoroughly debunked and repeatedly dismantled by both cryptographic reality and economic history. You are repeating echo-chamber talking points that break down the moment they are subjected to rigorous technical and structural analysis. Oh boy, here we go again.
Firstly, citing Bitcoin's first-mover advantage and network effect as impenetrable moats ignores the basic history of technology, where being first is frequently a sentence to creeping obsolescence rather than guaranteed survival (just ask Netscape, Myspace, or BlackBerry). First movers accumulate massive technical debt and suffer from protocol ossification. Bitcoin's rigidity, or in other words, its 1MB-equivalent block size constraint, transparent UTXO model, and inability to hard-fork without existential social warfare traps it permanently in a 2009-era architecture. Furthermore, you maximalists consistently misapply Metcalfe's Law: (1) True network effects scale utility while driving down per-unit transaction costs (like the Internet or social networks); and (2) Bitcoin's network effect is inverted (just go look up "Diseconomies of Scale"). I mean, as more people attempt to actually use Bitcoin's base layer, transaction fees spike catastrophically, confirmation times stall, and user experience degrades. Bitcoin actually does not possess a utility network effect. You know, it possesses a speculative liquidity cluster. Financial liquidity is notoriously fluid; once an asset fails at its primary functional mandate -being an uncensorable medium of exchange- liquidity inevitably migrates toward systems that actually function.
Secondly, claiming Bitcoin isn't captured simply because "you can still hold real BTC in self-custody" demonstrates a fundamental misunderstanding of how financialization captures consensus and market structure. When Wall Street titans like BlackRock, Fidelity, and Coinbase Custody hold 80%+ of the marginal spot volume and institutional supply, they effectively own the social consensus. If a protocol dispute arises, Wall Street -not individual node operators!!!- dictates which chain retains the "Bitcoin" ticker. The sovereign individual holding a hardware wallet becomes an irrelevant rounding error. More critically, self-custody on a transparent ledger is a trap. What good is holding your own private keys if the UTXOs in your wallet are flagged as "dirty" or "non-compliant" by Chainalysis or Elliptic or CipherTrace or Arkham Intelligence because of an interaction ten hops ago? The second you attempt to spend those coins or off-ramp them into the real economy, regulated entities will freeze or reject them. Self-custody of a fully transparent surveillance token is merely the illusion of sovereignty inside a digital panopticon.
Thirdly, suggesting that tools like Wasabi or CoinJoin solve Bitcoin's architectural privacy flaw exposes a fatal misunderstanding of privacy engineering. CoinJoin is dead already (you should check out sethforprivacy.com/posts/fungibility-graveyard/ ). Chainalysis and Elliptic cracked heuristic clustering on CoinJoins years ago. In fact, zkSNACKs (the entity behind Wasabi) actively implemented transaction coordinator censorship and blacklisting to comply with regulators, completely neutering the tool. Also, opt-in privacy is a trap; you should know this already. In cryptography, opt-in privacy is equivalent to zero privacy. If 99% of Bitcoin transactions are completely transparent and you suddenly utilize a CoinJoin, you immediately signal to every surveillance firm and government agency: "I have something to hide." Your UTXO is now permanently tainted with a high risk score. For privacy to be effective, it must be mandatory at the base layer (privacy-by-default), creating an unbroken, universal anonymity set for every user. This is precisely what #Monero achieves natively through Ring Signatures, Stealth Addresses, RingCT, Bulletproofs+, and Dandelion++.
Moreover, the argument that "you need a transparent ledger to guarantee a finite supply" is perhaps the most egregious technical error in maximalist rhetoric. It fundamentally ignores modern zero-knowledge cryptography. You do NOT need to reveal transaction amounts or balances to mathematically prove that no inflation or coin-printing has occurred. Monero's supply is strictly and continuously audited on-chain using Pedersen Commitments and Bulletproofs+ range proofs. A Pedersen Commitment utilizes homomorphic encryption properties to mathematically guarantee that the sum of input values equals the sum of output values plus the transaction fee ( ∑ Inputs = ∑ Outputs + Fee ). Simultaneously, Bulletproofs+ cryptographically prove that every output value is within a valid range ( 0 ≤ x < 2⁶⁴ ), preventing anyone from creating negative outputs or fabricating coins out of thin air. Claiming you need a naked, transparent public ledger to verify a supply is like claiming a bank must publish every citizen's account balance and full transaction history on a public billboard just to prove the central bank hasn't printed excess currency. It is an archaic notion born from ignorance of zero-knowledge mathematics.
Finally, asserting that Monero lacks adoption while simultaneously holding an XMR position as a hedge against coming CBDCs is a direct self-contradiction, sorry mate. Monero IS the active circular economy. Monero is currently the ONLY cryptocurrency on Earth actively functioning as a daily, P2P, untraceable medium of exchange across global darknet markets, merchant networks, and privacy-conscious parallel economies. Bitcoin's transactional utility as actual money has plummeted to near zero precisely due to high fees and ubiquitous chain surveillance. Besides, for nearly 10 years, the DarkNet Marketplace Bible has been advising that Bitcoin should not be used on the Darknet and that Monero should definitely be used instead. Waiting for CBDCs to arrive before switching to Monero is also a fatal tactical error. By the time CBDCs and total digital financial surveillance are fully deployed, every transparent Bitcoin address, exchange off-ramp, and KYC-linked wallet will already be permanently locked inside the state's regulatory grid.
Ok, Bitcoin started a revolution. But it froze in time. It sacrificed its cypherpunk roots (which means privacy, fungibility, and decentralization) to become an institutional, state-sanctioned, tax-compliant, heavily-surveilled speculative asset class for Wall Street. Monero obviously did not copy Bitcoin's mistakes; it solved them. Monero doesn't need an artificial "HODL" cult maximalism or Wall Street ETFs to justify its existence, because it isn't an asset designed to be dumped back into fiat. Monero is the precise exit from the fiat system entirely. If what I've written sounds a bit cocky, I hope you'll forgive me. Cause, I've been hanging out with Bitcoin maximalists for about 10 years. You know how it is: it's easy to get caught up in it, but hard to break free. You really really really should do your own research. You can't learn anything from the Bitcoin maximalist circle-jerk. I'm sorry you're living proof of that today. If you want, you can also learn quite a bit of deductive reasoning by spending an hour browsing my profile.

WOAH 🚨 Democrat Costa Mesa, California Mayor John Stephens says he has never seen an issue where “virtually 100% of the people gave the same position on it” for wanting Flock cameras cancelled
Right after saying this, he voted to keep the Flock camera contract
INSANE
“I don't think that I've ever in 10 years had an item that's come before us where virtually 100% of the people gave the same position on it, and including people that are on email. — Yeah, I'm concerned about the people that came up and said sincerely that the flock is impacting their trust in the police department”
Right after this he voted to keep the Flock cameras

It's the balance, honestly. More calories worked out than put in but it doesn't matter how much or how little you eat when you aren't burning the calories. And gaining while working out makes sense because muscle is heavier than fat.
