I recently installed the Fountain app @npub1v5u…n0v5 for podcasts. If you're a simpleton like me, I highly recommend The Bitcoin Podcast. I'm just scratching the surface this day, but hear me out.
This dude @npub1cj8…rz4u tells to those with an impaired capacity of understanding, some gorgeous economic stuff. I felt my IQ rising by a whole point, but now I hope it's not because of inflation. So, the gateway drug for me is available in 4 episodes right now (from a series of 6). Also, if you have insomnia, this guy's godly calm voice might cure it all. Just don't listen while driving or something...

People tend to like a good-night story. Well, I have a morning story.
I was born in a Latin country and I feel great in other Latin countries. I just spent four weeks in France and decided to return by train through Italy, with two small city breaks down the road.
Then, when I crossed the border into my adoptive country, Austria, its beauty hit differently. It felt like everything was perfect, gorgeous, with sense, cared about, and so on.
I visited Austria for the first time about 26 years back, and I fell in love and finally decided to relocate here about 8 years ago, for a limited time, just to see how it feels. Even if I am out of the country for a weekend, I still get amazed when I return. People complain a lot about this country, especially immigrants like me. I don't want to negate anyone's experience, but people think I'm weird when I say that I found here the warmest possible people.
I know that my post looks like random crap, but I had the urge to put these words into the wild. I love my kid, my wife and Austria. They all amaze me constantly, and now Austria is part of the family.

While it was a joke, you should know that not everyone can start a business "just like that". You need capital and whatnot. And if everyone would start a business, you'd have no one to clean the streets, pick up strawberries and so on. You still need those people with "parasitic mindsets ". Thinking that a job that's paid unfairly is a choice? While some people say that <we all should have a side hustle>, they don't think that for others it means cleaning shit in other people's homes after 12 hours of hard physical work, just as an example. Can you tell me what would this do to one's soul? It's a rhetorical question. And please don't take it as me throwing crap at you, I just want to show you a different perspective and I genuinely hope to not offend you in any way. If somehow I did it, I apologise.

It's the moment to ask the public again. First of all, treat me like I’m 5 because I just started to scratch the surface about a week ago, regarding BTC and what it might mean.
Now let's see if I got it right. Would Blockchain, or something similar, serve as a tamper-proof voting system? With access to everyone, no more staying in line, not counting if you temporarily went for a quick tan in Antarctica and so on.
If the answer is yes… Wouldn't that cause the people to be able to vote for a lot of other stuff, even in more trivial matters? Because it might scare the shit out of politicians. I was thinking about Switzerland where people vote once in a blue moon for issues that are not common in any other countries and the first thought was that they afford the costs, at least compared to most of the countries, but I still thought that at some point it can become annoying for voters to spend more time than needed to get to voting booths and so on. But if you have an app on your mobile phone…
So, where am I hallucinating?

I think I’m trippin’! So take your crayons and make me understand.
There will be at some point 21 million Bitcoin, not considering lost keys and stuff. Taking into account 8 billion people on this planet, it results in an average of 0.00262500 BTC per capita. That's right now about 180 USD. I am thinking about the implications but I start to believe that I have alcohol-induced brain damage.
Can someone tell me where's the mistake?

One can only hope. I fear that those who lack opportunities and whatnot tend to also be less educated and clueless about Bitcoin, Blockchain and so on. I’m an immigrant, low-skilled blue-collar, living mostly among my peers, and I can say that it's a level of complexity that makes the whole topic unreachable for some not-too-small parts of the population.

Bitcoin newbie, close to my first BTC purchase.
After quite some research, I managed to find some ATMs that have a commission of “only” 8% and, the cherry on top, there's no identification necessary for amounts up to a maximum of 250 EUR. I intend to buy some Satoshi every month for 50 EUR so it's not a problem by far.
They also offer the option for me to buy through the Lightning network with a more down-to-earth commission of 2%. While my scope is to buy and simply hold, I won't refuse to make a small purchase from a more or less random shop if the opportunity arises, for practical experience.
I want to give myself a year to get acquainted properly with this world before deciding if I should raise the amount but, before my first purchase, I want to know if there's anything to take into account as a newbie or if I’m good to go. Just in case, the company that owns the ATMs is called KURANT Bitcoin ATM and Service. It operates in Austria, Germany and Spain so maybe someone knows anything about it.

My first 24 hours on Nostr.
It's not what I feared about. And I feared that everything would be politicised. For example, I am on Instagram looking for cooking recipes but it just can't stop from shoving down my throat some very hate-inducing stuff. It seems that nowadays politics isn't anymore about “what we can do better for you” and it's more about “look what they will do to you if you don't vote for us”. And I don't even live in the US. Or in any English-speaking country for that matter.
Instead, I found a more laid-back community that seems to fight twisted ideas about what our society should be and I like this because I like fresh ideas that can give me hope and, as a parent, I need this hope towards a better future. If I understand correctly the message of the people I follow, it can be put as “it shouldn't be <our free will OR your free will>, it should be <free will> because we're not talking about different situations that are mutually exclusive “.
I also learned a lot of new words and concepts (that I had to look for, with more or less success in understanding) but that's a different topic. Also, my post starts to unintentionally look like a weird rant.

How can one buy very small amounts of BTC with anonymity?
I am new to this world, and please explain to me like I’m 5. For context, I'm in the second half of my 40s and my level of education is limited to high school. One detail that might count is that I live in the EUR zone.
My intention is for the next year to buy BTC worth 50 EUR a month while getting some practical experience along with some knowledge and re-evaluating after this time. I want to do it for my kid, for reasons that go beyond “some cushion money”. While I am not a very educated person, to put it mildly, I am getting anxious about some totalitarian tendencies that my old continent seems to have acquired. Some call me paranoid, so I decided to stop talking about it in real life, but I assure you that I don't use my aluminium foil for non-culinary reasons. While right now I live in the “civilised world”, I was born in an Eastern European dictatorship and I can still get a sour taste when, once in a while, I see different news about what should be regulated next.
But I digress. From my knowledge, there are two ways of keeping my privacy while acquiring BTC. The first one should be in person, with cash, but I don't know how safe it is because, well, paranoia again. The second option would be to use a Bitcoin ATM where I can pay with cash. But to pay about 20% over the market… for me it's outrageous. And yes, I know it's not a lot of money but for me, it counts.
