Ah, sorry I missed this one when you posted it. I think this is an awesome Nostr use case. If you’re charging for the service, you might want to consider running your own relay to provide data storage and increased reliability. The trick is making the UX really solid and also overcoming the onboarding challenges. Coincidentally, all things I’ve been working on lately!

"Lightning fails in about 30% of the time." ?!?!? We run some of the biggest and most central nodes on Lightning and see extremely low failure rates. Are you sending Lightning payments with a potato? We obviously cannot see the failure rates for other services, but for Rizful and Alby, unless you are doing something very wrong, you should almost never have failures.

Also, a power supply is not included in the shipment. It requires greater than 65W of power. A standard phone USB-C charger will likely not provide enough to keep it running consistantly and may unexpectedly power off.
