Personally, I would've phrased it different.
It's okay everybody
@nprofile…e3hc says that if you send "normal" amounts of your kyc Bitcoin at the same time as everybody else you're hiding in a big anonymity set.
This is surely the solution to Bitcoin privacy 🙄

📰 **Nostr’s Identity Crisis: When Decentralization Becomes a Liability**
✍️ by Madrid
Most people think Nostr’s biggest problem is its complexity. It’s not. The real threat isn’t technical—it’s the absence of anyone actually steering the ship. With over 100 clients fragmenting the user base and zero governance to align them, Nostr is quietly becoming quite hard to use and attract new users. Little to no friction is ideal, we are failing at it. Read on and find out my thoughts about it and what can be done.

Get the conversations straight.
This thread right here is about RBF
and mempool policy. Where Bitcoin is more unreliable due to RBF.
This here is NOT talk about an adversary being able to attack and reorg the chain.
Which is obviously easier on a Monero than Bitcoin and nobody said otherwise.
Cuz it makes no sense to keep doing it.

I guess you guys need to learn how to attach a large op_return to your transactions now. Shouldn’t be too hard for a community who fell in love with data usecases. 🤭

However, the post is ironic and refers to the human consumption of soybean, sunflower, corn, cottonseed, canola, and other vegetable oils.
We know they increase inflammation due to an excess of omega-6 fatty acids, because they are processed and may therefore contain harmful compounds (many are extracted using solvents), and because they are high in trans fats, etc.

They will say that if you are not putting your money back into circulation you are being selfish and a fascist.
I know the flag isn't binding. I'm saying as a merchant that's enough for me.

Moved to CLN a long time ago, never had an issue except for some insanely low fee selection for channel closures during congested on chain activity.

You are leaving out vocabulary to make your point. It's easier for the same person that originally spent the money to respond the money to a different output on Bitcoin if RBF is enabled. What we are arguing about is not the spender. It's an adversary being able to attack the chain and double spend or reorg that we are arguing about. You can't fuck with A tx in bitcoin if RBF is not enabled or if it is and you're not the private key holder. The fact is Bitcoin is Far more secure than Monero.
You want to desperately argue like it's not.
Cant wait till they start saying your money will expire.
It doesn't matter what the flag says.
The flag isnt binding and if the miner is running full RBF (and all of them are now) the sender can still bump the transaction.
Yes it does via nip44v2. I added vaccine tracking from a user request. If you don't enable relay backup or partner sync then all the data stays on the local device.
I merchant. I see mempool. I see rbf I wait for conf, I don't I accept 0 conf.
Pretty easy pal. All automated.
You really shouldn't be talking shit as if full-RBF policy wasn't the default now.
Accepting RBF has been a really bad idea *on Bitcoin* since v26.
So yeah
Its easier to f with Bitcoin txs in the mempool and that's just facts.
Bitcoin-BLAKE2b should adopt XBT as a ticker. Hear me out.
BTC already identifies the Bitcoin-SHA-256 chain. Once there are two competing Bitcoin consensus networks, using BTC for both just creates unnecessary confusion and endless arguing.
XBT on the other hand is already an established Bitcoin ticker, used in financial infrastructure and APIs.
The X prefix also has a deeper meaning: it is used for non-national (stateless) monetary assets like gold, silver and Monero.
That makes XBT a much better fit than inventing some shitcoin-sounding ticker like BTB or B2B.
XBT = Bitcoin-BLAKE2b
XAU = Gold
XAG = Silver
XMR = Monero
And if the market eventually trades BTC/XBT, that pair would give us a clean market signal for which Bitcoin people actually value more.
The name Bitcoin-BLAKE2b was organically adopted by the community thanks to the great essay by @npub1ehr…qsdz. Maybe you guys could call our bannermen for this one too? What do you think?

It's wrong if you want to assume you can't do a transaction without rbf so it fits your narrative, sure.
It's retarded to assume that.
Try creating a new pubkey today and get it to amass the followers you already have today without cheating.
Alternatively, put yourself in the shoes of a legitimate new user who isn’t in your WoT: How would this user get to interact with you, exactly?
🤷🏻♂️ been on TF since I needed the storage settings!
To those who sent me Monero: I know what privacy means.
Thank you for your support.
I don’t know who you are, and I don’t want to know.
But every little gesture counts.
I’ll carry on working on my canvas, as always. Without haste, without noise.
Thank you. 🫂🎨
I have no idea actually. 😂
I believe they are. Or very very close.
Is @npub1cla…539g considered to be safe?
I’ve only used it for test npubs…
working on a new build now
> Monero is easier to fucj with confirmed transactions than Bitcoin.
I didn't argue this point.
> Much less unconfirmed
I argued this point because it's retarded and wrong, and indicative you don't really understand Bitcoin as well as you think you do.
Is it the same as the TestFlight version?
Ugh well I think I had a bogus version installed then…
