Current actions of sending National Guard into states are violations of Posse Comitatus, as much as I understand it. Not sure what legal actions could be taken on that issue, until we have sufficient control of Congress to make impeachment stick. Sending National Guard against National Guard verges on civil war.

When I worked in Alaska, we had a great view of the sound from the fish cleaning line. Not uncommon to see a gang of sea lions come rushing up the sound, launch themselves onto a small island, and comense barking up a storm as a pod of Orca came swimming up and circled the island until they got bored. There were rumors that the sea lions would push one of their number off to satisfy the Orca but we never saw it.

Case in point (pun): Ed Case runs as a Democrat every term, then votes as a Republican.
