Fortunately I have the ability to sharpen scissors since my wife has no respect for any sharp object. I bought her a $150 knife for Christmas in hope that it would frighten her out of throwing it in the sink. Major fail. Perhaps if I teach her to sharpen knives it will build some respect. 🙄
