I grew up on russets, had no idea there was any other kind of potato, and I hated them. Then when I was 12 we had dinner at a relative's house, and they served red potatoes. I was astonished...mom still only bought russets. 😒. Now I'm grown up and can choose my own potatoes, homegrown Yukon Gold.
