Among my many MANY supplements one is ultra-B complex from HSN that includes the entire family of B vitamins.
Now I run out of it, the rest is in Cadiz. I wonder if that's why I'm back at the chicken deprivation symptoms. That's all the meat I eat and as far as I know we can only get B vitamins from meat.

I remember when I was a kid and wanted to work in Sillicon Valley, now I would love an earthquake to swallow it whole with the CEOs of all the FAANGS and OpenAI there. Keys to their private jetz first.
Also "work" + "Silicon Valley", what a contradiction. The place exists to destroy all worker's right worldwide.
If anything I would love to use absolutely nothing that comes from there. They'll probably fund CANCER if cancer got them a 1% uptick on share price.

There's something unsettling about gay male characters being written predoinantly by straight women.

Of course I've been awake since 4am. Humongously big changes are coming. Do you think my brain wants to rest now?

I used to have an Asrock Deskmini. But I got tired of missing power (in that case was GPU) let alone bigger fans.
Being able to host a big fan makes a hell of a difference in CPU power if not the most. Without proper cooling they throttle, no point in having 12 cores if they are all throttled.
The idea was brilliant. I could take it with me wherever but the missing GPU was a big issue. You lose a lot of CPU and RAM when you don't have a dedicated GPU, more than I'm willing to lose.

It's incredibly how noticeable the downgrade in power is from an old-generation desktop CPU to an old generation laptop CPU when you're used to code from the former with monitor+keyboard+mouse.
They both have 16GB of RAM but one is a desktop Xeon, the other is a laptop Ryzen 5 3500U.
Let alone the desktop has its own dGPU with additional 8GB of vRAM

While everybody else struggles, I can literally get amphetamines LEGALLY on a Saturday evening, 30 minutes after deciding "fuck it I want to try Elvanse". All I had to do was to find the earliest possible psychiatrist in BUPA (costs = ZERO for all videoconference consults), attach my diagnose in PDF and tell them I want to try Elvanse.
Pharmacist just told me through whatsapp they have no stock but I'll get it tomorrow 4pm. It's been ordered.
To be fair I'm not in a rush, I just want to try them and compare.

1. If you were change from any metylphenidate formulation (Concerta, Medikinet, whatever) into any lisdexamfetamine formualtion (Elvanse, Vyanse, whatever) why and what did you notice?
2. Don't you think it's worth considering the metylphenidate options if just for the price difference with Elvanse?
3. What type of ADHD you have (inatentive, combined, hyperactive) ?

Same has happened to me with Dan Römer when I asked him if I could take a song from Station Eleven and stretch it 10 hours on a loop or Maps when I told him his version of Love Will Come in Spotify (after I heard it in Brave New World with the greatest Jessica Brown Findlay dancing to it) was like a low quality MP3 and he fix it in under an hour reuoloading a better master.

Dear fellow human people. It's been confirmed. I have ADHD and as expected of the INATENTIVE variety.
Now heading to the pharmacy to get Medikinet (methilpheldinate) with a PROPER prescription. I can continue with Bupropion if I want or slowly stop taking it and see if methilpheldinate is enough AND better.

2. Mind mobile phone location of each grid component.
3. Use Liveview.JS to fade in and out users when you move them out.
4. I really hate the look of the "Edit team" form, change it.
5. Try 30 domains at the same time in Domains list see how the look.
Bupropion-less = 5 thoughts at the same time, can't hear them, overwhelmed, analysis paralisis trying to figure which one to try to foccus on.
Bupropion-full = They are still there, they are not going anywhere but I can focus on one at a time. PRODUCTIVITY!!

@nprofile…mkea my flavour of inattentive ADHD means when I'm coding on my own I'm already pair programming. The distractions come from my own head and my job is to keep them on track on the same codebase. Incredibly easy to do on Bupropion.
Adding an actual physical other human, just adds noise. Body doubling is disruptive for me.

Your usage is legit, I used to use it like that too but when you take a step back and see the LONG-TERM picture you realise you're making yourself unemployable.
The more you relay on LLMs to code for you, the least you're using your own knowledge, the more it fizzles away. You start forgetting what primitives the language you're using has, you then forget the complex structures like Enums and Maps. And so on and so on.
Efficiency at our coding jobs is achieved by continuous retrieval of our own knowledge. That's how memory works. LLMs destroy your memory.

I've discovered I can have a very weak coffee BEFORE I take the bupropion without it affecting it at all nor my energy levels.
Which is good because I can't fathom having soy lecithin with anything but coffee and I truly need that.
Also the effect of the pill seems tied to how much raw material I give it to work with so some days I do take more than 1 L-Tyrosine pill. No Tyro = no Dopa.
I honestly don't think my brain chemistry problem is not producing enough dopamine but consuming it all very quickly. When I wake up, pill or no pill, I am raw willpower, but it doesn't last. Bupropion makes it last.

This is the source of me being so irritable lately, it's called being burned out. Exhaustion caused by lack of job security.
I want written contracts with clear responsibilities for both parts and therefore predictable INSURED income. All that I had the 4 years (I wrote the contract myself) I worked with Survation.
Damian might be a crazy CEO, but he was and is a great LEFTY human being that addressed my biggest fear from day one and got it out of the way.

Eigth hours for the second part of the ADHD evaluation.
Honestly I think it is ridiculous that this can't be done on one sitting.
Sure it might take 3 hours but...so...what? Why break it down in 3 appointments?
There's not even 3 parts, but part 1 gather the info, part 2 gets hardcore numbers, part 3 is just the interpreation of part 2 + prescribing pills.
NOTHING changes by making each part on a different day. It just stretches the time I've got to waste underslept and untreated. So much for out-of-pocket healthcare.

I tricked one psychiatrist from Sanitas/BUPA into getting me Wellbutrin.
It's not the same psychiatrist (and team) that are diagnosing my ADHD. But me going rogue getting some initial results now by bending the truth about SSRIs I tried, quitting tobacco, and that "I've heard" Bupropion/Wellbutrin helped.
Yesterday I was THE BEST I've been in years. But it was a combo of strong (really bad) stimulants from HSNStore (completely unsustainable, it's their strongest DIETING cocktail for when you're on a cut all stimulants: taurine, caffeine, guarana, synephrine, all of them) + the Wellbutrin.

Wellbutrin/Bupropion isn't doing shit. But it makes sense it isn't. I saw this coming.
Yesterday I still had my usual caffeine overdose so there's was plenty of dopa/norepinephrine around and the WB effect is pretty much the one of a plug on a bathtub. It just keeps them around, like filling up a bath.
Today there's nothing to keep around, I drunk no coffee. That's the point, to TRANSITION from unhealthy stimulants to sustainable ones, build up of dopa/nore
Coffee had to go.
I don't think the problem is solved until the psychiatrist prescribes me an actual stimulant that I can combine with the Bupropion. 🤔

There’s always a loophole. And I think the meds loophole in this case might be Bupropion (aka: Wellbutrin).
Why? Because it’s prescribed as antidepressant and smoke cessation aid. All antidepressants have far less requirements to be prescribed.

My informal poll seems to confirm the inattentive types need sameness and the hyperactive types need variety. Those who need both declare themselves combined type too.

The fact Hector (gym manager) let me park my e-scooter inside (he was the one who suggested this corner) is one of the big reasons to never change gyms.

Remember my train of thought about hyper/hypo arousal, most of the graphs I've found put the in an order that didn't make sense to me as in hypo at the bottom "window of safety" in the middle and hyperarousal at the top.
Now, if you go deeper, the name is "polyvagal theory" and this is the way they put it. This makes A LOT MORE sense.
Anyway, going deeper the rabbit hole.

@nprofile…mkea I’ve heavily considered it. There’s no way I can consume gum, lozenges, patches or any nicotine products without going back to vaping AND develop even worse insomnia.
How do I know? Experience.
I tried patches, gum and lozenges, all of them pushed me back to vaping. The only way I could quit was cold turkey.
Nicotine gives me focus but also multi-day insomnia. There is a reason I was 58kgs until past my thirties.
Edit: this is 2011 (58kgs)

Trying to focus right now would be like trying to insert a rope through a needles eye. Or an elephant trying to fuck an ant.
The impossibility of it all, would bypass the feeling of frustration and get me straight into anger.
All I can do is either
1. Additional coffee and squeeze the value of the last hour, maybe 2 of the day.
2. Give up and just rest, tomorrow is another day and I know I’d be able to get stuff done.

The worst part of this all is having the knowledge I wouldn’t be tired on this bed if I smoked a cigarette (common yet unsustainable ADHD patch because…cancer) and yet accept I won’t ever light one in the rest of my life because it cost me too much to quit.
All my hopes are on the meds. Until then, just suffering.

Every time I run a nixos-rebuild switch I want to cry. If waiting for Windows Updates was painful imagine waiting for stuff to recompile
