There's something unsettling about gay male characters being written predoinantly by straight women.
You're creating a genre, about a community, without being part of it, and being 100% oblivious that such community does not identify in the slightest with the ASEXUAL way (e.g: Hearstopper or Red White and Royal Blue) you're writing it.
The story might be beautiful and even we might enjoy it but...at times it feels VERY out of touch.
Let alone you're making us all asexual just to make us more PALATABLE to a public that is not us.
How's that not homophobia in disguise? ð€
