I personally don't see it as a political topic here; people will buy what they want, regardless of politics.
It's just that they're not practical here yet. I have a priest friend who owned an EV, but he ditched it as soon as he could because he liked to drive to concerts and hated having to adjust timing for recharge.
And that's the real issue for us, for now: the country is just too big for those of us who want one vehicle, but also want to venture out of our immediate range.
EVs will only gain traction here with improved battery technology.

Sorry, I don’t follow what you’re saying. I didn’t see image alt tags in any client I tested including yours, but let me know if I missed anything. I do like the feature of tagging a user in an image, and that’s something I haven’t seen any other clients do yet, so good job on that. I’ll probably add that into Sidecar in a future release. As far as implementing accessibility best practices, I’m not doing this to sell a product, I’m interested in it because it’s something quietly improves the experience for everyone, including those who otherwise couldn’t use our products.

I remember I've noticed a peculiar dialogue here: some guy told they've watched some Reiki video and they felt better. And somebody, who I believe understands psychology relatively well, responded with something like "this is a placebo nonsense".
You know what's odd with this response? The cynical "nonsense" word.
We've been learning how to distinguish a drug effect from placebo, which clearly shows how important the placebo effect is, but ironically many of us disregarded it as some annoying unnecessary noise that confuses researchers.
What's worse, many conflated and keep conflating placebo and other stuff that relates to subjectivity with New Agey magical-smegical ideologies. This is so stupid.
At some point I expect to record a video on transcending the New-Agey (")Nonsense("), as I'm sure it's incomprehensible to discuss it in text posts properly. At least I don't have such a capacity.
There's such an enormous layered confusion and self-deception literally on all sides of the idealist/emergentist spectrum. #Metamodernism barely touches this issue but doesn't really dive into it, while #NonReductionistPhilosophy and #IntegralTheory guys are basically trapped in their biases.
All this stuff is also echoing here in some way. And it becomes a bit tough to read some of your posts, guys.
Embrace some fucking epistemic humility when you mention whatever you believe a "Magical New Age Cult" until it becomes an anti-intellectual delusional humiliation, which only traps you even further.
It's so ironical and painful to see that specifically those who were and are projecting this stuff on legit psychology and meditative practices in particular appear to have cooked their lives already to some degree, as far as I got them.
