Here's some more information about the LFL Connect system, which is basically a Facebook-style friend request system built for Nostr.
Someone pays a one-time fee of 21 sats to send me a Connect request. The sats go directly to me, and whether I accept or decline, I keep the sats.
But what happens if I accept someone and later they start bullying or annoying me?
Easy. I disconnect them. 😂
If they want to Connect again later, they'll have to wait for the cooldown of around 24 hours and send another request — and pay again! LOL
LFL doesn't have an app yet, but someday it will. Now imagine Amethyst, Primal, Nostrich and other Nostr clients supporting the same Connect system.
Yeah... goodbye spammers and annoying people.
LFL Connect gives the user the power to decide who gets into their social circle.
Want to see it working? Check out my LFL profile and look at my Connected list. I already have one connection!
You don't even need an LFL instance to be connected with me.

Cold storage is handled.
I went with the BougeRV 30-quart (28L) 12V compressor fridge/freezer along with the insulated cover.
https://file.nostrmedia.com/p/4eb88310d6b4ed95c6d66a395b3d3cf559b85faec8f7691dafd405a92e055d6d/ffc41f8c2ea135c9bba2e06306fe418aaf2d67b0f6decf96b00205ab1cf8a819.mp4
I think the 30-quart size is going to be a much better balance in the rolling command center, aka the Corolla Cross.
I should probably name her at some point. :)
It has essentially the same footprint as the 23-quart version, about 22.7 × 12.6 inches, but it’s only about 2.5 inches taller. So I get a lot more usable refrigerator space without giving up any additional floor space.
https://file.nostrmedia.com/p/4eb88310d6b4ed95c6d66a395b3d3cf559b85faec8f7691dafd405a92e055d6d/fa4200c400d10f484fa4683e8753a0369fca79e87a8b1b02e76ec8244975f349.png
It weighs about 23 pounds, can run as either a refrigerator or freezer from about -8°F to 50°F, and runs from 12/24V DC or regular AC power.
It’s also pretty efficient for a real compressor refrigerator: about 36 watts in ECO mode and 45 watts in MAX mode.
The insulated cover will help it hold temperature and give it better protection from @Moxie than foam insulation held in place with a bungee cord. Lol
https://file.nostrmedia.com/p/4eb88310d6b4ed95c6d66a395b3d3cf559b85faec8f7691dafd405a92e055d6d/09d294e94b9295130875543a234041e6ff83063a4509892d7f6646cfd95af3a8.png
And I have a feeling I’m going to be taking this thing everywhere.
HOBOTECH did a good comparison of the 23- and 30-quart versions here:

Got a deal on Amazon. $263.72 for the fridge/freezer and insulated cover, including shipping and taxes.
Should be here Thursday.
Another piece of the rolling command center falling into place.

The only people that I see excited about AI generated images, video, apps, and slop-posts is people too deep into the AI delusion.
Denial?
Instead of a slop video or image, you could have just written out the prompt you used. Much better.

> "All “conspiracy theorists” know about Building 7. But what about Building 6? Kurt Sonnenfeld, a videographer who worked for FEMA, took lots of videos, and claimed that the estimated $650 million worth of gold stored in Building 6 had already been emptied, by someone, prior to the 9/11 attacks. Sonnenfeld’s wife Nancy was shot and killed on December 31, 2001, and the authorities attempted to pin the murder on him. The murder charge was eventually dropped due to lack of evidence, but the prosecutor was still coming for him. Sonnenfeld fled the country, and was later granted asylum in Argentina. Sonnenfeld gave informed lectures on 9/11, talking about the mysterious power outages and evacuations in the weeks leading up to the events, and the fact that two close Bush family members controlled the company in charge of security at the World Trade Center. He charged that “hundreds of government personnel” were in New York City on September 10, preparing for one of those familiar “drills.”"

I’m just saying this is the same argument that socialists make
The LFL Connect system basically solves spam in livestream comments. Listen to this.
On my LFL instance with the connect system enabled, comments won't appear in my live chat or OBS chat widget unless you're Connected with me. It doesn't matter which Nostr client you use to post the comment — if we're not Connected, LFL simply ignores it.
To Connect with me, you send a request and pay a one-time 21-sat fee. I still have to manually accept your request before we're Connected.
Sure, your comment can still exist on Nostr and show up in Amethyst or other clients. That's fine. I use LFL to read my stream comments, and my OBS widget won't display it.
Could a spammer pay 21 sats? Of course. But paying doesn't get them in. I still have to accept them.
Problem solved.
Connect isn't fully implemented across LFL yet, but damn... this is going to be an amazing system.
