Happy Monero Tail Emission Day
Today marks the fourth anniversary of the tail emission coming into effect. The current inflation rate is below 0.86% and continues to approach zero over time. This means the number of new coins generated annually (<160,000) is lower than the estimated number of lost coins. Consequently, the supply remains stable and miner rewards are secured.
To celebrate the occasion, I am releasing the design seen at Monerokon under the GPL. Have fun printing it on merchandise.

Sitting outside #monerokon wait for admission, time to tell you how last year talk by Aaron Feickert about "Mnemonic seeds for risky situations" inspired me to write a little shell script to brute force the last word of 11 given #bip-39 words. Well I adapted that to #monero and took it to the browser to share with the world.

Breaking News: Alice and Bob Now Lawfully Under Surveillance?
Due to suspicious behavior and repeated encrypted data transmissions over open networks, an unnamed authority (a "TLA"—Three-Letter Agency) is now monitoring Alice and Bob. Alice and Bob are known to be avid users of #open-source #software; indeed, through numerous examples and use cases, they have utilized this "harmful, freely accessible software" to persuade other law-abiding citizens to engage in this economically damaging behavior.
But now we’ve got them right where we want them! We know they are using encrypted communications, a fact that renders them suspicious and necessitates close surveillance. Finally, the state is taking action.

but the host would still be the one single point of failure, the central point to shut down or censor, imho the question is how can one utilize the decentralized network to eliminate the centralized host. I was think of using the immutable IPFS with a crypto domain and use the nostr network NIP-78 app data for additive or dynamic content. But I do love your thinking.
