Do you blame Alby or lightning itself (or both)?
I'm terribly sorry. We lost our boy three years ago. It's still tough. My vest to you and your family.

But this does mean voluntary actions get taken away.
And secondly, we have tech that makes censorship hard. So why keep using those platforms?
You want me to believe that the Euroids (police officers of the EU states) are going to enforce this on everyone? How will that even work. May as well cut the Internet off, ban import of routers etc. It becomes wild.
It's like a 3D printer ban, it's just absurd.
So I'd say, wait till it gets to that and then pushback (if you even need to, as mentioned: alt-tech is the answer)
Hey there. My wife used to have a dog. He was very cute. But then she gave it to another family, because our child was born.
Can't wait to see your dogs.

Let me rephrase, the reference ord implementation is busted. Protocol is a fun idea but wholly inefficient to really build anything on.
I'm not really "into them". I think it's a fun idea. Let the retards pay the miners.
I have made a couple yes but only a couple and they're much older when I was playing with it. Indexing sats is a fun idea. But ultimately it turns sats into serialized numbers which is fun and delusional. You can't build anything serious on a shared delusion and the protocol is busted AF imo. Hence the issue. I'm a developer. You think I'm not going to play around with things to understand them?
Lots of pools in that chart. Because some have more hash than others or a significant amount is not an indication of centralization. And a 51% attack is a dumb attack vector. It's pointless. Disruption at the cost of millions for little to no gain.
Its been a pleasure moving over void Linux I have to admit, I honesty never thought I would find a perfect distro after so much hopping around but my word this distro has struck me so much. Dare I say it is the perfect distro for me
Oh my days the football today has been incredible, well done to Switzerland
Yes, if it leads into coercive regulations (as that is what that would be).
Then yeah, screw it, and I can see how they would push for that with the exact same:
"It's for the kids" / "It's to stop anti-semitism" / "arab terrorism"
Ursula really is a peace of work.
She reminds me of an "old guard" Afrikaaner, who worked in the state, who would have loved to rattle the peasants a little bit more. I say this based on her "oudoos" (old "doofus" generous translation)) haircut.
Granny vibes. And hey grannies are cool, but not evil grannies or control freak grannies.
So it's just the EU state wanting parity with the US 😂
Ah yes, just statist things.
I have no doubt that they won't be scanned 😂
And that, following my belief that a private company can do what they want given it is on the T&Cs. I completely agree the Eureich (the MPs) will somehow make themselves exempt from it coercively, unless the T&Cs end up saying "government excluded" - no problems with that.
That being said. Just don't use this stuff. These services are UTTER trash. Alternatives exist and people REALLY must put their money or time where their words are.
Mining isn't centralized now either. And libre relay is not malicious just because it takes off core guardrails... And op return is a mempool policy and has nothing to do with the op return limit of my own transaction. I can sign and briadcast an op return bigger than that well before core 30.
I don't see what the problem is.
I completely misunderstood ChatControl.
This is a fight to stop companies from doing something that they were already doing - I presume stipulated in their T&Cs as well?
If it is in the T&C's then I see no problem.
The solution is to not use those services.
I know Bitcoin has changed a lot since then. But it's spam prevention mechanism, total supply, and many other things are the same as they were then.
(Albeit, total supply did have a bug at Genesis... That's not the point.)
Tuesday of the Fourteenth Week in Ordinary Time
Reading 1 Hosea 8:4-7, 11-13
Thus says the LORD:
They made kings in Israel, but not by my authority;
they established princes, but without my approval.
With their silver and gold they made
idols for themselves, to their own destruction.
Cast away your calf, O Samaria!
my wrath is kindled against them;
How long will they be unable to attain
innocence in Israel?
The work of an artisan,
no god at all,
Destined for the flames—
such is the calf of Samaria!
When they sow the wind,
they shall reap the whirlwind;
The stalk of grain that forms no ear
can yield no flour;
Even if it could,
strangers would swallow it.
When Ephraim made many altars to expiate sin,
his altars became occasions of sin.
Though I write for him my many ordinances,
they are considered as a stranger’s.
Though they offer sacrifice,
immolate flesh and eat it,
the LORD is not pleased with them.
He shall still remember their guilt
and punish their sins;
they shall return to Egypt.
Responsorial Psalm Psalm 115:3-4, 5-6, 7ab-8, 9-10
R. (9a) The house of Israel trusts in the Lord.
or:
R. Alleluia.
Our God is in heaven;
whatever he wills, he does.
Their idols are silver and gold,
the handiwork of men.
R. The house of Israel trusts in the Lord.
or:
R. Alleluia.
They have mouths but speak not;
they have eyes but see not;
They have ears but hear not;
they have noses but smell not.
R. The house of Israel trusts in the Lord.
or:
R. Alleluia.
They have hands but feel not;
they have feet but walk not.
Their makers shall be like them,
everyone that trusts in them.
R. The house of Israel trusts in the Lord.
or:
R. Alleluia.
Alleluia John 10:14
R. Alleluia, alleluia.
I am the good shepherd, says the Lord;
I know my sheep, and mine know me.
R. Alleluia, alleluia.
Gospel Matthew 9:32-38
A demoniac who could not speak was brought to Jesus,
and when the demon was driven out the mute man spoke.
The crowds were amazed and said,
“Nothing like this has ever been seen in Israel.”
But the Pharisees said,
“He drives out demons by the prince of demons.”
Jesus went around to all the towns and villages,
teaching in their synagogues,
proclaiming the Gospel of the Kingdom,
and curing every disease and illness.
At the sight of the crowds, his heart was moved with pity for them
because they were troubled and abandoned,
like sheep without a shepherd.
Then he said to his disciples,
“The harvest is abundant but the laborers are few;
so ask the master of the harvest
to send out laborers for his harvest.”
I must be a pedo since I prefer running libre relay right? Or maybe I just like money you can't fuck with.
Bitcoin was designed from Genesis with a spam prevention mechanism. Attempting to block transactions containing information you don't think constitutes a valid use case is an overstep, unnecessary and poses a far greater risk to Bitcoin than any "spam" someone is paying to put on chain.

One Year With Void Linux
Week One Post:
So I have found myself at a cross road while doing a year long challenge on Linux. I started with NixOS as my daily driver and all was going well until it didn’t, I was loving it so much until I tried to update something and it all went out the window. Don’t get me wrong NixOS is a absolutely fantastic distro but I think its a little out of my league Linux wise. My head is full of other crap and learning a new way to use Linux was so fun to start with but after years of mainly Debian as my daily driver it felt as if my head was gonna explode. So I went with Void Linux and honestly I could not be happier at all, its so fast and runs perfectly on my Lenovo laptop, have no systemd is no big deal for me and plus with everything going on with that I would rather stay away. I love how I feel more in control over everything I do and use is the best feeling ever.
Things I love about Void Linux
The performance is brilliant
Battery life is better then what I was getting on Debian
Getting to know Xfce has been awesome
Gaming has been great on my games
Things I don’t like
xbps is lacking some software
I will update this as I go along.
So far within the first week I have managed to break it by trying to move over to xlibre but after a bit of trouble shooting I managed to roll back to xorg. I have spent a lot of time learning as much as i can about the rest I just used ch as I can about this great distro and to be honest its lacking in the handbook but you can still get things done or fix with a little know-how. There are so useful tips out there on the web but I found AI to be useless when searching things up. AI can go in the bin as far as I’m concerned, they are spending billions on this tech and its pure rubbish, but lets move on. One thing I have noticed and this is a very small thing and that is my file transfer is slow compared to other distros I have tried, I’m not sure if this is me not done something right or if its void Linux, I would hazard a guess its me not doing something right so I will look into it this coming week. I find that installing software using xbps is incredible, they maybe lacking software, well compared to NixOS or Debian but they have mostly everything I needed and I just use AppImage for the rest of my software as I hate Flatpak with a passion, I find Flatpak clog up my laptop and overtime just make it unusable, might be lack of ram who knows so I just stay well clear unless I really and I mean really have to. I have to say I love how bare bones this distro is compared to the likes of Ubuntu and fedora, I honestly wished I had tried this earlier rather then jumping form one distro to the next. Gaming so far I have testing it with dark souls 2 which I know is a old game but dam it played really well even on high settings, I have also been able to go to the full 2GB VRAM on the internal graphics card which is amazing as Debian was the only other distro I could do that on, I will retest a few more games with the GPU getting that full 2GB
So as I look into the future I can see me storming past a year, I hate to say it but I think I have found a forever home on Linux even after only one week. I have waited for this day for so long and I have been looking into free BSD a lot lately but I found myself saying why on earth would you leave something that's so stable and works with my hardware as well as it does, I would be crazy so here I am finally using my laptop as I want with everything running as I want it, only time will tell now if I manage not to distro hop again but as of now it ain’t gonna happen at all.
On nostr? Idts. It's all on centralized stuff last I checked but I don't have the nostr 3d print client on my phone.

No, we need to be deploying local ai NOW. The 3d printing part of nostr needs to ramp up quickly too so we can have ai designing and tweaking drone designs so they can help us maintain our sovereignty. We can do it all in the name of regenerative agriculture and then turn plowshares into swords when the time comes.
More like 2026 bud. They already did it with fable.
