And if you look at the history of money it makes sense as to why it’s the way it is…
Satoshi wasn’t a know it all and they pretty much just put the pieces of a puzzle together to make Bitcoin…
I created a command line utility to sweep any on-chain funds sent to my npub to another bitcoin address. Nothing leaves my machine, except for the broadcasted transaction.
FWIW, in the last 24 hours, I received more funds to this address than I did all least year via zaps.
For sure, my npub is now part of a monetary flow. That kinda sucks, but it's nothing in comparison to all the s***posts signed by this npub. If I was smart, I'd set up another npub that has no links to my social identity and ask for funds to be sent there.

Worse than this is the fact that today we don't have a single good Bitcoin native wallet on mobile. Everything goes through somebody's services or looks like it was made in Win95. They completely abandoned the core purpose of the Bitcoin idea.

Not a terrible idea, justs needs to be clear that we enter 'LN Address' (or whatever there) and that additionally updates kind0 for that payment type.
Ideally, kind0 should just point to a payment types trusted list.

It is a mistake, frequently made by people with expensive luggage, to believe that a towel is an object.
A towel is not an object.
A towel is a treaty between the human body and the universe.
This is why the Guide has always advised the traveller to know where their towel is. Not because towels possess any special propulsion system, diplomatic immunity, or capacity to argue with municipal demolition notices — though several towels in Kerala have attempted all three — but because a human who knows where his towel is has not yet surrendered to chaos.
In most parts of the galaxy, the towel was discovered late.
In South India, it was discovered early, absorbed into civilization, given regional names, and quietly placed over the shoulder of every man who understood that reality is mainly heat, bureaucracy, sweat, dust, ritual, and unexpected visitors.
The South Indian towel — known in certain sectors as the thorthu, thundu, or angavastram — is not merely used for drying.
It is used for thinking.
It may become a head covering, a shoulder mark, a sweat shield, a prayer cloth, a field tool, a post-bath garment, a modesty protocol, a tea-shop declaration, a temple-adjacent identity layer, or a highly advanced emotional firewall against relatives asking about employment.
This explains why the South Indian traveller remains so difficult to psychologically defeat.
Confront him with heat: he folds the towel.
Confront him with rain: he wrings the towel.
Confront him with empire: he places the towel on his shoulder and waits.
Confront him with bureaucracy: he wipes his face, nods once, and produces another document from somewhere impossible.
To the untrained eye, this may appear casual.
It is not.
It is civilization compressed into cotton.
The towel says:
I have bathed.
I have walked.
I have waited.
I have survived offices, temples, bus stands, funerals, weddings, monsoons, and relatives.
I am not lost.
This is why any official, interstellar or otherwise, who mistakes humans for cockroaches has already failed the towel test.
A cockroach survives collapse.
A human with a towel survives collapse, remembers who caused it, attends the inquiry, wipes the sweat from his forehead, and says:

More proof that Nostr UX is underrated. I would have thought having a link is automatic, but they don't have a cryptographic ID, so you have to enter a string and keep typing in numbers until you get a green check, that nobody else has it yet. And they don't use e-mail because more than one account can have the same e-mail.
