That's the real reason for rising bond yields however is all these countries central banks trying to sell off their bond holdings. It's pensioners who are going to end up the bag holders when this finally breaks. All the retirement accounts and pension funds.

You are right. A fork to protect itself is the option on both cases. But in one of the case it's much cheaper per watt to mine and thus you could just participate instead of attack and the price to attack is 100m vs 10b... So you could attack and cause a fork 100x more on Monero than you could on Bitcoin.

The interoperability is also a cherry on top of an app in my eyes, not a leading feature itself. It works well as a secondary thing to discover after using an app for a while, so making people be aware of it doesn't add much value unless you're explicity looking for something with interop in the first place. It might just serve to confuse users with needing to learn about Nostr if it's front and center.
