I went to another seminar for human trafficking awareness today. There were speakers sharing stories and resources. There were also tables offering merch for donations. One speaker/survivor was selling tallow. I mentioned accepting bitcoin as an option and how the bitcoin community feels about tallow.
I’ve been asked to set up a table at future events, talk about bitcoin and help set up payment wallets for those interested. Never been in this space of the community or conversation so open to any help. I think Cash App does this. But want something easy for adoption and ideally private for safety/anonymity
For those that don’t know, I joined Damus and learned about bitcoin when I was going through a hard time in my life. I’m a survivor of domestic violence abuse. Bitcoin is an option for those in similar situations.

I'm thinking about deleting half the dedicated pages on Ditto and instead putting a feed builder straight in the home feed. This demo is very slow and incomplete. But I'm thinking you'd be able to configure the feed right there and then save and share your configurations (something like Spells) and easily switch between your feeds like Primal does it. Then a lot of the dedicated otherstuff pages like /decks, /treasures, etc become kind of pointless.

Seriously, it's like if DOGE had *any* process whatsoever, maybe it could have made a real positive impact.
These were 20 year olds who smashed their way (sometimes literally) into the sensitive government offices, downloaded sensitive data for thousands of Americans onto "unknown" personal computers, and probably had military drones spy on the people who objected...
The thing is I would have much less of a problem with it if they did all this where it *actually* matters which is the Pentagon...

I can't DM you it says your relays are not set up. But to confirm, I can not get it to work it defaults to the colour of the owner profile regardless of how I create the event. So I create an event, choose the group its for by self acting it, but it still shows on the colour of the profile
It says "yum", so you know it's good
