And only lowly analysts are stuck going... But it can't actually do these things? The emperor has no clothes! And you're now preventing me from doing my job? 😭

I would only do it if I could hot swap services or host my own. Otherwise way too risky unless it's a tiny company that couldn't afford it. I guess it is what it is in that case. I don't like single points of failure in life.
Subsidize the subscription price tag (50% off first 6 months for example) instead of a rug.
I consider it a form of dishonesty when companies do that. It's a lie. You should tell me up front what you needin return to offer me a service. If it's hidden or subsidized, and you know that will end, you lied to me.

Same! There are some cool options I'd add above base (center console and a speaker) but not much else. I've said for years I just want basic and would even do manual windows (my electrics have had problems several times). I'll probably have my truck for several more years at least but may get one for shits if reviews look good. We always keep a third vehicle around anyway
For the same reason nobody else has, it's hard. Melting plastic is easy, but extruding ut, keeping tolerances, completely eliminating air bubles, and lrobably a ton of stuff that I don't even know about.

This was an interesting book a while back. I disagree about the order up top but the bottom ones are correctly structured. The poor and stupid are kept in the relegation zone to benefit the top of the pyramid.

I've been saving it for years, but I don't have any way to melt it down and extrude it into a new spool.
All my testing shows that it does disconnect (and yes this is what I want it to do also). Both graphene and stock google. You can see it in the logcat. Let me know if you can confirm. It will disco very shortly after closing and resume when it opens.

My personal Chart of Fears: 4 periods where the Dow went nowhere, sometimes for decades:
1. 1906–1924 (~18 years)
San Francisco. WWI. Spanish Flu. Two decades of noise, no progress.
2. 1929–1954 (~25 years)
The longest drought in market history. The Crash of '29 didn't bottom until '32 — and the Dow didn't reclaim that peak until the mid-1950s. A full generation.
3. 1966–1982 (~16 years)
The invisible bear. The Dow oscillated between 600–1,000 for 16 years. Vietnam, Nixon, stagflation, oil embargoes. Real returns were deeply negative once you adjust for inflation.
4. 2000–2013 (~13 years)
The "Lost Decade" that was actually 13 years. Tech bust → 9/11 → GFC → European Debt Crisis. The Dow in 2013 sat roughly where it did in 2000.
Total: 72 years of the last 126 spent going sideways.
The chart looks like a rocket ship in hindsight. It didn't feel like one to anyone living through it.

Not exactly. It would only need to be maybe 20% because a 20% reduction in hash rate producers on the legacy chain would cause a significant slowdown. While any block with BIP110 compliace would have 100% compliance with the legacy chain. A single block after activation would likely cascade Miner acceptance (or massive orphan risk).
The only failure modes for BIP 110 is near zero adoption (already about 10%) or a Successful URSF which has next to no discussion 2 months from activation.

I have to use Microsoft Power Automate, ok? Power Automate also can't do this, I have to submit a ticket to IT to generate permissions to use Python... And I'm rejected? Ok... How am I supposed to automate this report the executive asked for?
