It's the Dilemma of wanting to support the ecosystem but reality is a pain.

Money is so pointless.
They know people often miss mortgage payments and that housing 🏠 will eventually crash. This is an easy way to collect large amounts of your corn 🌽 .

I'm just waving the white flag on Bitcoin.
It's unlikely the cypherpunks will be able to reclaim Bitcoin as a form of cash.
It's become a highly speculative financial asset that people will use ad a sort of collateral + lottery ticket for fiat.
I tried my best to fight the fiat maxis but unfortunately they own Bitcoin now.

That's true. Sort of. It was the NIP-01 definition of relay coms and kind 1 that did it. That was a very low bar, that everyone could jump over. That made more simple relays architecturally small and easy to install, so that lots of us could spin one up.
And then we added the fact that there was zero expectation that everyone have a complete set of anything and went toward outboxes and aggregators+broadcasters, instead. That was also smart.

I'm going to have to be honest, Nostr needs to make a heavily integrated client.
I think after like 3 to 5 years, X/twitter finally decided to remove the shadow ban, and I've found myself on X a lot more recently.
It's so hard to talk about normal stuff on here in my honest opinion.
It gets tiring talking about Bitcoin, and Nostr after a while.

I'm surprised I haven't heard of any relays that ship with built-in DVMs. That would keep the relays "dumb"—everything is still a Nostr event—but allow relay providers to expose "smart" capabilities built atop the relays' backing databases.
