chrome handles xfinity's internet speed test better and shows me 1156 Mbps down which at least confirms it's able to more than saturate 1gbe and is getting some benefit from the 2.5gbe
at least network won't be a bottleneck for backups :D

of course the reason is simple: JSON was designed to be parsed with the eval() function, and was WILDLY UNSAFE
Infinity and NaN are not keywords; they are global object properties, and can be shadowed by local variables on eval()
