the jellyfin server is my 2009 dual-Xeon workstation with a more recent Radeon 6600 GPU, a USB 3.x interface with the 2.5 Gbps ethernet, and an NVMe drive for local storage
Ultra HD rips are up to 100 Mbps and the data comes in over the network from the NAS, gets transcoded via the GPU, and either sent back out over the network to computer 2 or played/decoded locally on the same computer; neither seems to change the results.
