At some point, they showed how the assistant could create presentation slides from a text document, complete with images and all. So naturally, I asked where the images had come from.

Couple of thoughts on A.I. before bedtime.
I've seen the argument "these tools are only going to get better," but I'm not sure. Imagine a graph where the X axis is "volume of training data" and the Y axis is "A.I. capability." Right now, lots of money is being bet on that curve being exponential, but there are papers out that suggest it's much more likely to be an asymptote.
In other words, shit don't scale.
And if shit really don't scale, then we've got trouble brewing.

I would find #VR development a lot more enjoyable if I didn't have to don and doff the HMD repeatedly during debugging.
I guess the upside is that this annoyance has incentivized me to produce fewer bugs when writing code? Like, today I was refactoring my radial menu interface, and it actually just worked. Like, I was expecting there to be some kind of screw-up because of the amount of code I had to rewrite, but it all behaved nicely.

As a parent of neurodiverse kids, it really, REALLY sucks sometimes how the world we live in is built to accommodate the needs and capabilities of neurotypical people. Both of my children have #ADHD.
