受け入れ難いものを嘲笑することは１０代の子達の特技と言ってもいいくらいのものかもしれませんが、あの年齢からあんなヘイト的な方向に持っていかれていることを聞くとやっぱり辛いですよね。。。

元々左寄りな環境で育ってたのが大きいど思いますが、「左翼」のラベルを使うようになったのは社会人になった後でした。
特に大きかったのはコロナ禍初期から可視化された日常の中の優生思想でした。（左翼スペースにも見かけるのは悲しいですが）
「左翼的な考え方というのは弱者を持ち上げる姿勢」だと気づいた時、ラベルへの抵抗が自然に薄れて、気づいたらなくなりました

比較対象として日本の人口を調べてみたら、16万人では市区町村の170位くらいに当たります😢

↑こういうのもあって重要な概念を敢えて和語ではなく外来語で主張してくる記事とかがあまり好きじゃないですよね。
伝える気持ちより著者の理解を示すことが優先されている気がして、「もうちょっと自分の言葉、相手がわかる言葉に変えてみてもいいと思うけどな。。。」と、もやもやした気分になります😅

自分の仮説ですが、もしかしすると日本語としての「ワード」が分離できていない気がしてきました。
英語は問題なくフィルターに入ってますが、日本語の方は全く引っかかってくれない感じです🥲

To add on to your point: and we have evidence that even when things were as hard as living in the Stone Age or as hunter-gatherers, there were still people who chose to be kind!
When it comes down to it, kindness may be hard, but so are bones. Whether we know it in our own lifetimes or not, kindness leaves a record :)
