#AusCensus tip. If you are in a share house, or even a family home and you want to complete your Census separately from your household, call the Census Contact Centre on 1800 181 227. They can give you a #census26 number to complete an individual #Census form online or send you a paper form.

We got told the worst case BCP in the event of payroll going down was to pay people the same as the previous month, and the swings and roundabouts would be resolved in time.
Because no pay is the worst possible outcome.

Interesting lead to an article about caravan manufacturers failing.....
"Great Aussie Caravans, which was fined after a man’s intestine was ruptured when a colleague fired an air compressor into his anus, is among five caravan companies that have gone into liquidation in the past fortnight alone.".

I'm not qualified to know, however I would treat anything he says with a grain of sodium/lithium (*).
Failures happen on all brands and there are some things in the video which don't add up, for instance choosing to ignore degrading A/C in a new car for a "long" period of time.
(* Depending on if he's placed a 12min YouTube today on what technology is going to revolutionise battery tech today or if it's going to fail).

That guys channel is appalling.
One day it's "Sodium batteries will change everything".
Next day it's "Why battery manufacturers are pulling back from sodium".
In this case there's a counter video a couple of days later which says how good BYD are as theu picked up the car (on a Sunday!)... but doesn't say it was repaired. He took 11 mins to say this.
He discloses patrons to his channel, but there's no corporate patrons. When I listen to the content I'm telling you he being paid (perhaps in kind) by some companies.
Let alone being a classic case for saying something in 12 minutes which could be said in 2.
Perfect example of a time wasting influencer.

It's the time of year where crackles of sulphur crested #cockatoos go through plane trees and liquidambars, eating the seed pods.
They're messy eaters, leaving a huge amount of green detritus as they work their way from tree to tree stripping seeds and forcing them to the ground to be eaten by other members of the crackle, working their way along from tree to tree.

The idea is that you pull the lever periodically (6 monthly?) and release any air that's built up - as that air pressure can build up in a HWS and cause explosions. Of course, the air release is meant to happen automatically if pressure is exceeded. (In your case, the valve has probably failed and it may be releasing below the rated pressure).
Assuming a sustained (1min+) valve release doesn't fix/reduce (in which case go for 2 mins!) the issue, then if I was you, I'd see if you can find a mechanism to hold the lever in place so it doesn't bubble away, and then get a plumber to replace the valve when it's reasonable to do so. If you've got sufficient hot water, probably avoid running the unit overnight.
It's a pretty standard plumbing job for anyone who works with hot water systems, so I'd hope you can get out of it for $300-$400 (including the new valve and 30mins labour).
Love to know outcome!

You're playing with the temperature and pressure relief valve. It's a safety system, you're meant to pull the trigger on it every few months (releasing air in the top valve and water out of a waste pipe.)
They're meant to be replaced periodically (2-5 years depending on water hardness). My guess based on the way you're stopping the noise - the valve needs replacing.

King Parrott.
Had seeds out to feed birds last weekend at the house I was staying at. Whilst a variety of birds ate them, when the pair of King Parrotts turned up, all the other birds (Rosella's, Sulphur Crested Cockatoos) gave up and let them eat first.

Is the delayed blooming part of self preservation?
Not sure if they're pollinated by insects, but if they are, there's only so many insects around, so the more varied the genetic stock is in terms of flowering period, the better the pollination rate and survival of the species?
