Discussing the NDIS cuts with a friend.
She needed new tyres on her chair, and ended up just paying out of pocket for them because to go through the approved NDIS provider was going to be ages, and also cost 5 times the price the local bike shop charges.
The local bike shop is not an approved NDIS provider and therefore she can't use her NDIS funds with them.
There's your cost blow outs, not kids with autism.

Arvo Tiny Dancers. Been out and about this morning, with Dog.
She had to see the vetinry due to allergies (you can see her snout is swollen) so she came to Mary's for coffee with the BFF first.
She's not good with men she doesn't know very well, but the BFF knows where the good scritch spots are, so she was pawing him for more attention.
Then vet, then she decided we'd have a stroll around town where she was very brave (she's not good at noisy places).
The thing about Bella is when you put her in the car she goes straight for the driver's seat, but she doesn't even have a learner's permit.
Gotta go out again in a minute, forgot to stock up on Dad's biscuits.

Later work start today so I went to the Post Office Cafe which isn't called that any more and hasn't been for years but whatever.
I was there partly to have coffee and partly because Rosy and Sienna from Mary's are working there now and were like "Please come and seeeee ussssss" so obviously yes, they're spectacular humans.
Frosty morning, the paddocks looked so shiny white.

The husband of a lady I know got a dog for the kids.
Friend said "NOT INSIDE" so Siddy started in the yard.
Two nights later there was a big storm, so friend said "Okay, he can sleep in the laundry but NOT in the actual HOUSE"
The next day he was allowed on the lino/tile but "NOT on the carpet"
Anyway he sleeps on her bed now, took less than a week.

I have been bleak about the loss of the big buddleia, it's a bit of a stab every time I walk outside and see the gap where it was.
However! The wonderful @npub1emv…wnhu suggested cuttings. I thought I might be too late as it was all droopy on the bonfire pile, but it's perked up in some water and I'll pot it out and see how we go.
Mum always let it run riot (with some pruning so the path was still a path) because of the huge amount of butterflies and birds and all sorts it brought into the garden, and while I can easily buy a new buddleia, and I'm not overly sentimental about stuff and things, I didn't want to lose this big one.

BFF joined me, we ordered then waited for ages before one of the lasses popped over with a notepad to ask what we'd ordered because of course, on a busy day, the computer system had fallen over.

I have been out an about, along with everyone else in the area. Went to the cafe at the very far end of town because it was less manic, but still pretty manic.
Spot of shopping, coffee, bit more shopping. Some nice chats with people. Ah, feeling more human.
Now home. Feeling less human, but I did buy a very fancy smelly candle when I went into the gift shop to tell the owner her new shop down the road is looking fabulous.
It's been painted baby poo brown for years, she's rebranded it in dark green and white and it looks a million times happier.

I'm partly enjoying it. It's non fiction, about their time on a Greek Island in the 1950s. Some of it is a bit flowery wordy but it's fascinating to see the culture of the island.
