I have been bleak about the loss of the big buddleia, it's a bit of a stab every time I walk outside and see the gap where it was.
However! The wonderful Ganga (npub1emv…wnhu) suggested cuttings. I thought I might be too late as it was all droopy on the bonfire pile, but it's perked up in some water and I'll pot it out and see how we go.
Mum always let it run riot (with some pruning so the path was still a path) because of the huge amount of butterflies and birds and all sorts it brought into the garden, and while I can easily buy a new buddleia, and I'm not overly sentimental about stuff and things, I didn't want to lose this big one.
