idk, man. to me, tbs is acceptable because it's easier to hold in your head. puzzle games likewise. rts (at least bad rts, which is most rts i've seen) takes the worst aspects of tbs and the worst aspects of conventional games and dragonball fusions them into this unreasonable mess (literally, as in you can't reason about your decisions)

for example i use openrc. it works. i don't need anything more complicated.

remember those four different init systems i mentioned earlier when discussing which flavor of artix you want to install?
systemd is like the evil version of that.
back when gnu/linux was beginning to get captured by large corporations like IBM/Red Hat, Canonical, SUSE, etc., Red Hat came up with a truly devious idea. they'd make their own init system, and they'd pack it full of useless "features" nobody asked for and make it incompatible with everything else and gradually absorb more and more functionality.
`init` is supposed to start the operating system's userland. systemd does:
- device management via udev
- session, login, and greeting management via logind
- log and journal management via journald
and much, much more i'm now forgetting. most importantly, it does it all terribly and horribly and in a no-good, very bad way. it is designed to windowsify gnu to the point where they recently floated the idea of having a blue screen of death via systemd-bsod (unlike the usual linux kernel panic which provides much more human-readable and debuggable output).
give me a specific paragraph from this webpage and tell me what confuses you. is it jargon of some sort? i'll be happy to explain, but i'm unprepared to rewrite a fairly long webpage without knowing even what % you actually need rewritten.

never understood the slur "cl*nker". if you want a slur related to llms, pick either vector math or silicon, not fucking industrial metallic sounds which have nothing to do with llms. we already have an excellent slur pertaining to people whose existence is upon beds of silicon, for example, viz. seriously though, i don't like how broad words come to signify narrow concepts. reproducible, atomic, declarative, functional, etc.
c is a functional language, it has functions in it. even more broadly, it works, which is what functional means.
pacman is declarative. i declare that i want this-or-that package.
"noooo!!! the word means something specific!!!" then say that or come up with your own word. stop overloading words that already exist.
