"Over making decisions on foreign policy and sanctions by qualified majority instead of unanimity."
The removal of unanimity means sidelining the issues of smaller states.

It's 1950. Your doctor lights a cigarette and tells you that smoking poses no problem. He read it in a study. He's telling the truth: he really did read it. He doesn't know, or fails to mention, that this study was funded by the tobacco industry.
It's 1958. Your doctor tells you to eat less fat. The evidence is contested. This contestation doesn't appear in public health messages. The food industry has been very helpful in clarifying which findings deserved attention. Some researchers who published contradictory data saw their funding quietly cut. Ancel Keys makes the cover of Time magazine.
It's 1962. Your doctor prescribes thalidomide to your pregnant wife for her morning sickness. The drug is approved. Health authorities gave it their green light in Europe. Twelve thousand children will be born with severe limb malformations before anyone, in an official capacity, acknowledges the problem. Families were told the drug was safe. The drug was approved.
It's 1972. Your doctor prescribes you Valium. Britain is gripped by a wave of benzodiazepines that will last two decades. The risk of addiction is known internally. It isn't disclosed. Your doctor isn't lying to you. He wasn't told either.
It's 1999. Your doctor prescribes you Vioxx for your arthritis. It's newer than ibuprofen, well tolerated, and Merck has a study showing its efficacy. Merck also has internal data suggesting this drug doubles the risk of heart attack. That data won't reach your doctor for another four years. It's estimated that fifty thousand people died in the meantime. Merck eventually settles for $4.85 billion. No criminal charges are filed.
It's 2002. Your doctor prescribes you OxyContin. Purdue Pharma trained its medical reps to tell doctors that the risk of addiction was less than one percent. That figure came from a letter, not a study. The letter was about terminal cancer patients receiving short-term doses in a hospital setting. Your doctor is a general practitioner whose patient has back pain. No one draws the distinction. No one is required to.
It's 2008. Your doctor checks your cholesterol. Your LDL level is high. You're prescribed a statin. No one mentions that the number needed to treat to prevent one all-cause death is probably close to infinite. No one mentions either that the muscle deterioration you'll notice over the next two years is listed as a rare side effect rather than what it really is: a documented pattern affecting a significant percentage of patients.
And here we are today.
Your doctor has new guidelines. New studies. A new consensus.
He's confident.
He's always been confident.
Confidence has never been the problem.
Confidence is, in fact, precisely the problem.
We are in 2020 and your doctor "recommends" an experimental injection against COVID called a "vaccine"...
What happens next?
Too long

I hope he survives this ordeal too.
For heaven's sake, is that foid real? It seems that horror movies are not completely fiction!"
Naah, even if it’s true, nothing gonna happen to him. He is protected.
Too late. It will be everywhere and very soon. 5-to 7 years is my guess.
It works! Thank you very much!
Key Historical Facts
Origin: The gesture was created by James B. Upham and named after Francis Bellamy, the author of the Pledge of Allegiance.
Execution: It originally started with a military-style salute (hand to forehead) before the arm was extended toward the flag at the words "to my flag". While initially described with the palm up, it was commonly performed palm-down for ease.
Controversy: As the 1930s progressed, Americans grew increasingly uncomfortable with the optics of school children using a gesture that looked identical to the "Heil Hitler" salute. There were even fears that propagandists could crop flags out of photos to make Americans look like Nazi sympathizers.
Official Replacement: On December 22, 1942, the U.S. Congress officially amended the Flag Code to replace the Bellamy salute with the current practice of placing the right hand over the heart.

The Bellamy salute was the original hand gesture used by Americans while reciting the Pledge of Allegiance from its creation in 1892 until 1942. It involved extending the right arm straight toward the flag, slightly upward, with the palm facing down—a pose that later became controversial due to its striking resemblance to the fascist salutes adopted by Nazi Germany and Fascist Italy.

Last one was promising :)
Bluesky = “Twitter, but portable”
Mastodon = “Email-style Twitter (many servers)”
Nostr = “RSS meets Bitcoin-style censorship resistance”
Matrix = “Decentralized Discord/Slack”
probably users must just block spam themselves
Currently nostr world seems to be somekind of silly place of bitcoin nerds. Hopefully there will be more different type of crowd soon, this bitcoin crap has already starting to piss me off.
That’s because you’re special!
Yeah, I liked IRCvery much, but it’s server based. Nostr is not and should be resistant to censoring attempts. In theory that is :)
Trying to log in to forum with Onion tor browser on iOS dosen’t work. When trying to log in it says “Authorization code mismatch”. On desktop computer with Brave tor login works fine.
By deafult, when loggin into Primal web app there is only blue button named "New Note". To get to the button to write a new Read there are a couple of ways for this
1. Via the Reads tab
When you're on the Reads tab (primal.net/reads) in the web app, there should be a "New Article" or pencil/compose button that appears contextually — similar to how the "New Note" button appears on the home feed. Navigating to the Reads tab first puts you in the long-form context.
2. Via your profile page
Go to your own profile and look for an "Articles" tab. From there you should see a button to create a new article alongside any you've previously published.
3. Bookmark the URL
The most reliable workaround for a free user is simply to bookmark primal.net/myarticles in your browser — that takes you straight to the article editor every time, making it just as quick as a button click.
But Primal dosen't support group chat function. Doing fast search, it seems that Nostrord client is specifically made for nostr group chats. Probably there are some others too, like Chachi, Flotilla, 0xChat. Chachi — most user-friendly for beginners
Chachi is a web-based NIP-29 group chat client with a clean, Telegram-like interface. It's widely considered the most accessible entry point for Nostr group chats. Just open it in a browser, no install needed.
Flotilla — best for Discord-style communities
Flotilla is modeled after Discord — groups function like Discord servers or Slack workspaces, where users join an entire group of chat rooms at once, rather than joining individual chat rooms one by one. No Bullshit Bitcoin It describes itself as "the decentralized Discord alternative built on the Nostr protocol." Flotilla Great if you want structured communities with multiple rooms.
0xChat — best for mobile/privacy-focused users
0xChat is a secured chatting app built on Nostr that prioritizes privacy, with features like private key login, encrypted private chats, and public channels. It is a free, open-source, non-profit project that does not collect any user data. Google Play Available on Android and iOS — good for people who want a mobile-first chat experience similar to Signal or Telegram.
Nostrord — newest, most cross-platform
Nostrord is built with Kotlin Multiplatform, meaning it runs as native apps on Android, iOS, desktop, and in the browser via WebAssembly — with over 90% shared code across all platforms. Nostrord Very new (launched April 2026), so less battle-tested but promising.
I think my second post here should also be some kind of statement or something! 😉 But my meme-posting days are mostly behind me now
