Growing up one of our neighbors raised bison on their ranch. Sometimes they would escape, and you would look out of front window and see them roaming the prairie.
I don't think most people appreciate the scale of a full grown bull bison 😅 The neighbour had corrals with railway tie fence posts. Bison could walk through it if so inclined.

You're forgetting that the majority hashrate has no principles at all and will follow shifting profit incentives over time. The monetary use case is what originally and ultimately still will give Bitcoin its value, and will determine which is the true Bitcoin.
