Ali reside o homem de maior respeito político-religioso do mundo, a quem chamam de "Papa". Muitas vezes mencionado como vigário de Cristo e com o maior poder ali dentro, e como em uma igreja geralmente existe uma hierarquia, ele se encontra no topo dessa igreja.
