### 企业家精神是生产要素吗？

在解释生产要素的回报时，经济学家通常将工资定义为对劳动的支付，利息定义为对资本的支付，地租定义为对土地的支付，而将利润定义为对创业的支付。然而，将企业家精神视为一种获得名为“利润”之回报的生产要素，会引发一些棘手的问题：企业家精神是否具有对应于企业利润的边际收益产品？企业家精神的供给曲线是否向上倾斜（当利润上升时，市场上提供的创业活动会增多）？企业家精神是否存在收益递减？
坎蒂隆、萨伊、熊彼特、奈特、米塞斯、柯兹纳等创业经济学经典理论家的回答显然都是否定的。他们将企业家精神视为无处不在的市场机制属性，这种属性永远不会缺席。这在约翰·马修斯周三于CCSM会议上提交的论文《租金vs利润：战略制定的恰当目标是什么？》中得到了体现。
约翰引用了法国经济学家让·马尔尚1951年9月发表在《美国经济评论》上的一段话：
[创业]者获取其活动报酬的方式，与劳动者或资本出借者截然不同。后者提供生产要素，并将其出售给创业者，他们自然力图将这些要素的价格抬得尽可能高。创业者的行事方式则完全不同；他不是向企业出售某种东西，而是将自己与企业合二为一……无疑有人会说，他提供了“企业职能”，并据此获得一笔随经营成果波动的报酬。但这种表述方式颇为牵强，其灵感源于一种不健康的执念，即武断地要在其他要素与创业之间建立对称性。现实中，创业者与企业本是同一回事。他的职能在于与两个群体进行谈判，或委托他人在其责任下并以企业名义进行谈判：一方面是与生产要素的提供者打交道，此时他的问题是尽可能压低价格；另一方面是与成品的购买者打交道，力求从中获得尽可能高的总收益。一言以蔽之，创业者虽然无可否认地提供了一种生产要素——在资本主义体系中或许是最重要的要素——但他本人却不能以此类术语来界定。（第550-551页）
马尔尚以强烈的措辞表达了尼古拉和我本人在多篇论文中提出的观点：创业寓于资产所有权之中（即寓于企业的创建与运营之中）。创业者不仅仅是出主意的人，更是所有者，对自己拥有和管理的资本资产行使判断力。（这与柯兹纳设定的“纯创业者”这一分析工具形成对比，后者不拥有任何资本。）
以下是米塞斯（《人的行动》，第3版，第293页）关于创业无处不在的一段精彩引述：
> 创业者同样面临政治风险的威胁。政府政策、革命和战争都可能损害甚至摧毁他的企业……即便所有创业者都深信布尔什维主义即将全面胜利，他们也不会放弃创业活动。对即将被征用的预期会迫使资本家消费其资金。创业者将被迫调整其计划，以适应由这种资本消耗及其工厂店铺面临国有化威胁所造成的市场局面。但他们不会停止经营。如果一些创业者退出市场，其他人就会取而代之——可能是新进入者，也可能是扩大企业规模的原有创业者。在市场经济中，创业者将始终存在。敌视资本主义的政策可能会使消费者无法享有在无阻碍的创业活动中本应获得的绝大部分利益，但只要不完全摧毁市场经济，就无法消灭创业者本身。
这很好地诠释了米塞斯的观点，即正如乔·萨勒诺在邮件中所写，创业行为是一种“非边际的、纯粹智识的决策”。边际或生产要素分析法认为，创业者是根据（外生的）利润率进出创业市场的。而对于米塞斯、奈特——以及如上引文所示——马尔尚而言，恰恰是创业创造了利润。
许多人谈论企业家精神的供给和创业的边际回报，部分原因在于他们将“创业”视为一种职业类别，即自我雇佣。创业者是创办自己企业的人，不同于为他人工作的雇员。在这个意义上，将创业视为一种具有向上倾斜供给曲线的生产要素是有道理的：随着相对于工资的获利机会增加，更多人会选择自我雇佣而非受雇于人。
反之，如果将创业视为一种职能、过程或属性，而非一种就业类别，那么它就不能被当作生产要素来对待；正如上文米塞斯的引文所示，即便在市场环境最恶劣的情况下，创业活动依然会存在并发挥作用。

Les modèles locaux sont clairement le seul avenir pour les privés consciencieux de leur vie privée (tous devraient l'être mais peu le sont vraiment) et surtout pour les entreprises un tant soit peu sérieuses.
Mals à quel prix ? Qui peut se permettre une carte graphique à 4000 balles pour un modèle un minimum utilisable et loin devant le state of the art disponible en cloud ? Et en entreprise seul celles pouvant se permettre des infrastructures informatique locale à 6 chiffres au moins pourront espérer rivaliser. Sans compter qu'il faut reconstruire les connaissances et ressources car même les moyennes et grosses entreprises sont presque toutes passées 100% cloud, en faisait aveuglément et à tord confiance aux promesses des géants de l'Internet.
Ces changements seront long et tuera beaucoup d'entreprises aux passages, alors que cela créera un gap riches/pauvres-libres/escalves chez les particuliers.
Mais au moins la possibilité de pouvoir faire tourner ces modèles Open Source en local conserve un espoir au même titre que Bitcoin qui peut être déployé par n'importe qui en ayant la connaissance et un minimum de moyens. Quitte a avoir des services partagés mais restraints dans des communautés de confiances et non centralisé dans quelques grand groupes au pouvoir.
La bataille sera dure mais l'espoir est là.
