A few things…
1. @npub1nzh…z7rp spun this one up today in response to Boltz shutting down. It works perfectly. It might just be temporary but now I’m kinda inspired to run my own.
2. I absolutely had my issues with the original Coinos because it’s custodial and had a bunch of security snafus. I don’t use it and wouldn’t use it in its current form.
but…
3. There’s now a completely new reboot in the works built on Ark which looks super awesome, and removes the custody risk. So yes, after all this time, I’m bullish on Coinos.

After watching Jameson Lopp mock his customer base, it became easy for me to strike this company from my list. I will never do business with a company with a founder who makes fun of the people who would be his customers.
Some of us will not forget.
There are other companies that do this same kind of job, but are led by people who have respect for others.
I suggest that anyone interested in forging a business relationship with a company that's doing something as important as helping them custody their Bitcoin should make sure that they're comfortable with the people leading it. To be honest, I think we've seen enough of what that kind of leadership begets even in recent days.

Yeah, we weren't on the same page. I didnt mean earn in the sense that I owe them something, as if it's transactional. I just mean that they have to meet a minimum requirement on my end to even qualify for my consideration. So they earn an opportunity.
I'm actually not one to tell others they should forgive or extend grace. Personally, I tend to forgive people just so I can move on for my own sake, but I don't impose that onto others. Likewise, I don't impose my requirements for grace. People can give it while being punched in the face if they want.
My only point is that I think there are times when they are incompatible for me (OP). Like when the object of grace is preventing accountability and justice from occurring.

You sgould absolutely read my statement that "repentance is necessary for grace" to mean that the person must stop their transgressions before grace and forgiveness may be extended. Or as you put it in your second reply, they have to stop punching you, or else they should continue to be regarded as an enemy.
The point is that repenting still doesn't earn them grace. What they earned by punching you is to be punched back. Repenting by no longer punching you and agreeing that it was wrong to do in the first place doesn't mean they still don't deserve to be punched rather than forgiven. They earned a punch in the face, even if they are no longer punching you in the face.
