Swan is dead to me, and Strike is on the road to recovery. Frankly, @npub1xke…d0en is the big winner in all of this. While others took shortcuts, they built. We were blind to this issue, and following Cory like he was some sort of God that had the power to see the future. Meanwhile, he built his house and quicksand.
I’m honestly a bit pissed at myself for being duped, again. I didn’t get hurt in any of this, but still, I looked up to these guys.

I hate that Damus was removed from the app store, but I love my Apple devices too much to switch.
Thankfully I prefer to use Nostr on Primal (desktop), so I haven't felt the burn as bad as others.

I eventually just spun up a Debian VM on my homelab proxmox server and spun up the docker containers myself. I manage them with portainer to make it a little nicer to work with.

I tried, but they need an alternative to tor. They are supposedly working on it, but connecting through tor is a slog. Tailscale on Umbrel makes the whole experience 10x better.

Time is more scarce than we normally believe. Waiting for my flight after spending a week with my dad who was given 3-6 months on Wednesday. Tried to stay strong for my mom and also for my dad all week. I feel gutted, but also grateful.
Don’t take a moment for granted. Not. A. Single. Moment.
This is the lesson I’ve been gifted. Please take it seriously. Call your parents, love the people close to you harder. Let go of petty bullshit. You never know how much time you have left.

Anyone know why my home lab strfry relay is unable to be read when using cloudflare tunnels? I cannot figure it out.
Going off what nostr.watch is telling me. My VPS one works fine with the exact same setup.
