I have a set of Ra Optics because they were highly recommended. I know Dr. Kruse mentions Lucia Optics as well. And recently, we sprung for a red light lamp from the guys at Elios… and they also have a good set at https://shop.evolutamente.it/ They even come in clip-on form, which is a budget-friendly way to mitigate blue light if you use prescription and don’t want to get a new set every time your prescription changes/drifts.

That makes sense. And even though every address’ activity is relatively transparent, one can infer that a BlockClock owner with a non-local setup (Start9, Umbrel, etc.), may be an owner of at least one ColdCard device (if they were a fan of the ecosystem)… and that device might be part of the subset of devices that generated insufficient entropy in their seeds.
With that foreknowledge in mind, that filters the set of vulnerable addresses significantly in the attackers favor. 🤦🏽‍♂️

I don’t know much about the BlockClock, but a cursory search say it’s able to show balances (if linked)? That makes this whole shit-show magnitudes of levels worse. If the thing is pinging back to CoinKite with this info, they’ve been able to zero in on who’s bag is worth exploiting 👀

I can see your point. But I’d limit the BW to avoid someone abusing and siphoning the DL/UL. Maybe even through some filters, to avoid DMCA takedowns… just got one last week. Forgot to enable the VPN and a torrent triggered a response from my ISP.

Anyone heard of the Zebec cards? Rather than gift cards limited to a store/chain, they offer virtual cards you load with most crypto and use them via Apple/Google Pay. Heard about from someone who loads theirs with Zano. I haven’t tried it because I’m running GrapheneOS and Google Pay is something I’ll have to live without… until they offer a physical card or do Garmin Pay.

Yeah… well that’s what happens when the State intervenes in the free market, whether that be the “Affordable” Care Act, or the airline industry, or the automotive industry, corn subsidies, and the list goes on. They all have “unintended” consequences.
And to this point in particular, it’s the reason why private (read sovereign) medical practices have been driven out of business, and have coerced well-intended medics to join Big Harma systems as contractors, and only be allowed to push whatever they “allow” or else risk being thrown out, or lose their licenses. Don’t you dare deviate from the algorithmic medicine we designate, or you’ll get what’s coming. Reason why you get billed $100 for a damn 2¢ bandage.
Rockefeller medicine at its best. Goes all the way back to the Flexner Report of 1910. From making the barrier of entry into practicing insurmountable, to dismissing all other disciplines as quackery (holistic, massages, chiropractic, herbology, acupuncture, etc.) They treat the body as if it’s a car with isolated systems that have nothing to do with one another (A/C, electrical, exhaust, tires), and the main goal is to make a lifetime customers… not kill you, but barely keep you alive while they “treat” the dis-ease by tackling the symptom, not the underlying root cause.
At the end of the day, people need to stop delegating aspects of their lives to third-party “experts” (education to professors, health to doctors, safety to the police, finances to Wall Street, privacy to Big Tech), and take responsibility and accountability of their lives and their loved ones. But alas… sheep always prefer to be herded.

I find it even more alarming that people EXPECT the State to provide them with healthcare, let alone trust them with it. At a minimum, one of the State’s only goals is to protect (not give) our rights… healthcare is not a right.
It boggles the mind to see the same folks that believe in self-sovereignty and adopting Bitcoin as a way to escape the fiat BS we were born into, not take that same self-sovereign approach with other aspects of their lives like education, health, etc.

It’s basically its own “user”, with its own passcode/biometrics, its own Home Screen setup, and its own privileges. The first profile is always the “Owner” profile, and from there, you can add apps to the child profiles, allow the profile to install updates (or not), and the file systems are kept entirely separate. So if you were to take pictures, for example, on a Work profile, the other profiles wouldn’t even have access or be aware of it in the Gallery. Each one is entirely independent from one another. It’s a very hardened OS out-of-the-box. Even VPN profiles are independent.
You can allow for notifications from one profile, to be pushed to other profiles as well. So say your employer insists on you using their apps for email (MS Outlook, in my case 🙄), I can have those notifications pushed to my Personal profile and not miss them.

Zapstore, Accrescent, F-Droid… and Aurora Store as a last resort. That’s the flow that has worked best for me. Keep all the spyware apps on a separate profile if you must (in my case, that’s where WhatsApp lives, because people 🙄). Profiles are isolated/sandboxed from one another.
