Yes for now. Some frontends allow you to create channels to keep things organized. And most allow you to filter down to only the accounts you follow. Eventually there will be algorithms that rank content just like Twitter/Insta/YT but they will be opt-in and open source.

The recent "linktree policy" was a panicked reaction to the realization that the Twitter platform "moat" is really a social construct. The company did a brilliant job in the early days to build the "checkmark" validity, but at the end of the day these platforms are just platforms

Fortnite/CSS skins are a terrible way to express individuality. Play style is the true expression of your will. The cosmetic skin is just the representation of your avatar which is already a repr of your will within the game. The cosmetic choice is only a repr of your vanity.
