I’m afraid that your rage (righteous as it is) has left you unable to reason. Voting is not like getting married, it’s like taking the bus. Get on the one that gets you closer to your desired destination. Not getting on the bus does absolutely nothing.

So this is weird I think. Gmail is sending me emails for someone else but their email is the same as mine except it has a period in it. Is this expected?
Like, should I recieve emails for my.same.email@gmail.com and that person just gave out the wrong email address? Or is this a Gmail bug?

same thing here!! Octoblock is legit cooler than Spider-Man. And yes wonderblocks and colorblocks are also amazing!

In about 20 years England is going to excel. The BBC’s “number blocks”, and “alpha blocks” are inspiring the next generation (and my Canadian kids) to LOVE LOVE LOVE maths, literacy, and learning.
And to boot, it’s not for profit like brainless shows in the US that just want to sell plastic toys.
Maybe the best argument I’ve seen for publicly funded media, and publicly funded anything. Get your kids watching these incredible shows.

I have family members who get all their news from X and none of them heard about Elon firing nuclear inspectors or that doge left their database wide open or anything bad Elon has done. Everything is just a funny troll the libs meme, and when I tell them these things they are shocked. It’s wild.

electron adds a lot of overhead in managing code signing certs and testing for many platforms (windows/mac/linux). I’ve grown to prefer PWA, and indexedDB is as good as SQLite, but that’s just my opinion!

there are obviously similar security concerns with indexedDB that there are with localStorage, like, if you use the site on a public library computer, your data is still sitting there when you log out. It’s probably worth only saving the data to indexedDB if it’s installed as a pwa, or possibly hashing the data using a key saved on the server that only exists when logged in.

could try indexedDB

it’s like you’re in a car at a T intersection stop sign where you can turn right or left.
But because you want the road to keep going you decide to drive off the cliff. That’ll show ‘em!
