They don’t care if he lose the mid-terms because the final objective of having him as President was to start this war. The mission is already accomplished.
People got fooled once again although there were telling signs that he was compromised such as his documented relation with Epstein and Maxwell, his participation in the #QAnon psyop and his acting role in the staging of his failed assassination attempt.
Today, the DOJ released more #EpsteinFiles accusing Trump in the rape of underage girls. Those are FBI reports so they can be dismissed to some extent, but if you understand that those are likely real testimonials, you can only imagine how much more leverage they have on him. He will do anything they ask him to prevent the release of the video footages tapped by Epstein.

I don’t know what’s going on with #Nostr / @npub18m7…q955 but I can’t see a note that I have posted multiple times while I can see my « GM » note (that I posted as a test). It seems that someone has replied to the note (that I can’t see) as I received a push notification for the reply but I just can’t see the note anywhere. It seems I’m having a lot of similar glitches lately (especially getting notified for people replies but. Ot being able to see the reply). I don’t even know how I can troubleshoot this. Some MAGA folks claim that #Trump is clean from the #EpsteinFiles because a document shows that he called the police on Epstein (and supposedly he was one of the first to do so). This claim is made without considering the broader context. Trump called the police AFTER it was known that an investigation had been opened on #Epstein. This seems like a lame attempt from Trump to save his ass before the scandal blows up to Epstein’s circle. If Trump would have really cared about saving the children from Epstein’s evil, he would have contacted the police years before and not just when shit is about to hit the fan.
It’s been know for years that Trump is owned by the Rothschild and now that the connection between them and Epstein is confirmed, it becomes increasingly difficult to make the case that Trump is not implicated in wrongdoing along with Epstein.

Yes, but #Bitcoin path got derailed with the scaling debate. This debate is still one to have because let’s be honest, Bitcoin doesn’t scale to a global usage. The lightning network was accepted as the solution to this issue. Now that it has failed, what’s next? Another contributor to the untenability of the backing of the US dollar by gold was the creation of the Eurodollars system which allows foreign banks to create US dollars. The US Federal Reserve has no oversight over those banks so for obvious reasons, a gold backing couldn’t be maintained even if there had been a willingness to do so.

On point. I would add that #Bitcoin ETF and DATs aren’t bullish. They concentrate the supply in custodians that lend it to short sellers allowing the “tradification” of #BTC which will make it a less volatile asset.

Henry Ford Health a pro-vaccine medical organization conducted a study comparing vaccinated vs. unvaccinated children. The study concluded that vaccinated children are significantly sicker with chronic diseases than the unvaccinated ones. This is not the first study to show this outcome but it certainly is the most authoritative. However, the author of the study made the decision to not publish it fearing reputational risk and negative consequences on his career.
Thankfully, Del Bigtree and Aaron Siri, who have been the drivers for this study behind the scene, released a documentary so this scandal isn’t left untold.

Too many #Bitcoin (Saylor, ETF & more) are held by large custodians like Coinbase who are then lended to short sellers. This allows institutional players to keep BTC in a range while chopping retail investors. The only solution is for retail to take their money out of those custodians and to self-custody but of course it won’t happen.

In 2025, we’ve seen the Western World burning a bit more with each passing day. Our societies have been taken over by a plutocrat class which pollutes our minds with propaganda and attack our bodies with various vector of warfare.

I’m not sure VPN blocked will deter VPN usage. You may have to turn off your VPN to access some official/institutional website which already ties to your real identity anyway. However, websites that are broadly accessed through pseudonyms would shoot them themselves in the foot with those restrictions. If they are forced to do so via regulations, it will help decentralized alternatives. The only real way VPN bypass can be countered is by enforcing a digital ID at the ISP level.

Quick #Bitcoin price update:
#BTC broke the $90,672 level which was the last line in the sand for the bull scenario to remain probable. With this level broken and even if we bounce from here, I give the bull path under 10% chance of playing out. The bear path likelihood is now at 80%. There probably won’t be much to update on the high time frame moving forward as I don’t see a strong alternative to a multi years sideway consolidation for now (unless we reach the grayed out box). If I keep on doing those updates, it will probably be to zoom in on the lower time frame.

Theoretically, if a large portion of merchants accept BTC-to-BTC or fiat-to-BTC payments it should positive for the price but if they choose BTC-to-fiat then yes, it would create more sell pressure. I’m not sure how much impact on the price this integration may have had already.

I’m not saying that Bitcoin is done going up forever. Yes, over the long run it will continue to go up against fiat assuming that Bitcoin can upgrade to quantum safe cryptography in time. But as long as OGs are not done distributing in the current price range, the price will be capped whether or not more fiat are printed. How long will this phase last is anyone guess, but it could take longer than most expect. I think years rather than months. We shall see…

I can’t tell if you’re trolling or being serious here.
Because of the exponential decay distribution of the BTC issuance the role of new issuance in this distribution phase is insignificant in comparison to the distribution of the already mined and strongly concentrated supply.
I don’t know for sure what the future hold for the price of #Bitcoin and maybe the price discovery phase will continue but I’m afraid it won’t be until a large distribution phase has played out first.
Fiat has all the problems we know about but it’s still the king medium-of-exchange. I take no joy in saying that but it’s just an obvious fact (ask anyone who’s not a Bitcoin maxi and you’ll see).
The error of judgement that many have made about Bitcoin is to believe that not catching up as a medium-of-exchange against fiat would have no negative impact on the store-of-value property in the long run. We can now see that OGs being forced to sell #BTC for fiat rather than circulating their holding in the economy is the dynamic that is going to put a lid on the price appreciation for probably what will be an extended period of time.

In the early days, was #Bitcoin mostly talked as being electronic money or a reserve asset?
I’m not sure what my statement is contradictory with what. I certainly could have made my point clearer though.
1) The Bitcoin supply is highly concentrated in the hands of a few partly due to its exponential decay distribution.
2) because of the lack of adoption as a medium-of-exchange, the best mean for OGs looking to cash out is to convert their #BTC for fiat which remains the best MoE.
3) this combination is likely to cap the price of Bitcoin for many years in what would be the biggest distribution phase ever seen by Bitcoin.
Some have called for Bitcoin entering an IPO moment which is a fallacious analogy as Bitcoin has been accessible to retail since day 1. It’s actually a key difference with stock that goes through an IPO phase which distributes from insiders to retail. In the case of Bitcoin, the distribution phase goes the other way from retail to institutions. Distribution phase are not bullish no matter who distributes to who.

I’m not sure how some folks can make the case that OGs unloading their bitcoins is bullish for the price. Due to its non-linear emission, the #Bitcoin supply became quite concentrated among early adopters. The original vision was that nobody would need to sell their #BTC for fiat but because Bitcoin has failed to be broadly adopted as a medium of exchange, OGs have no choice but to exchange part of their stack for fiat which puts pressure on the price.

#Bitcoin price forecast update:
The recent move down had #BTC broke down of the curved wedge for the first time since this bull market. For the bull case to have a chance of playing out (path 2), BTC needs to remain above $92k and to reclaim the wedge before the end of November. That said, I think there are good odds for this last move down to have found a temporary bottom. From here, I’m expecting a leg up that should bring Bitcoin back to the $120k area. This will probably be the last chance for the bulls to attempt a break out from the curved wedge. However, if the price falls back down and goes out of the wedge, the bull case will become very unlikely at this point.
Already, I’m downgrading the probability of the bull case to 20% (from 25%) and upgrading the bear case to 70% (from 65%).
Again, even if the bear case is at play, we have good chances of seeing a new ATH next year (in the $135k area ). However, this would be preceded by a drop to the $94k area. For those looking to sell some bitcoins near the top of this bull market, the next leg up may be a good time to consider doing so.
As long as the price stays out of the grayed out area, the bear case will maintain a high likelihood of playing out.
Emotions are high with Bitcoin trading in this range but keep in mind that this is only a 20% range over a period of 4 months. If the bear case plays out, I’m expecting a 40-50% range over the next four years. I think most long term hodlers are not prepared to navigate this type of price action…

#Bitcoin price forecast update:
Nothing has changed since my last update except that reaching $119,261 by the end of November would not have me to reduce the odds for the bear scenario (path 1) as I was previously anticipating. Based on the structure that has developed, there are good chances that this level will be reached before the end of November without impacting the bear case. In fact, there is a lot of room for #BTC to run higher without impacting the odds for the bear case. The structure that will develop between now and the end of the year is going to matter more than the price itself to gauge whether or not the 65% odds in favor of the bear case can be reduced. That said, I think it’s unlikely for BTC to move sustainably and significantly beyond the current ATH in 2025.

Over the last week, I’ve seen a lot of traders on X surveying their audience on whether #Bitcoin has entered a bear market or will see a higher high next. This is a trick question because I think both are true.
In #trading, no expectation should ever be absolute but rather probabilistic. However, if I had to answer this question gun to my head, I would say that #BTC has entered a bear market at the top on August 14 (defined as the shift from an impulsive structure to a corrective one) but that we’ll still see a higher high from here (corrective structure can create higher high).
I would expect this bear market to be shallower but longer than previous ones. This bear market would still present great return opportunities for those willing and able to play the range. Those looking to take profits over the next few years should do so at the top of the range. The mistake that many will make is to sell at the bottom of the range when it will be obvious that the be bull market has ended. People will fear to see the typical 70% correction but I doubt we’ll see more than a 40% correction this time.
But again, anything can happen and my expectation may change as the chart evolves.

I usually don’t set price targets based on fundamental or narratives but until the #Bitcoin network comes up with a consensual plan to migrate to quantum resistant cryptography, I think #BTC will have a hard time of reaching $200k.
Whether #quantum computing is 2 or 20 years away from breaking Bitcoin, this narrative will persist and undermine BTC performance.
Quantum resistance cryptography should be the focus of the devs to a greater degree than arguing about how to handle spam. I’m not sure to which extent progresses have been made on the issue.

Although painful, these market flushes are an opportunity to differentiate over-hyped #crypto from undervalued/fairly valued ones.
Rare are the cryptos that haven’t retraced all their gains or worse hit double digits loss over the last month.
That said, some are faring fairly well. For instance, #iDNA powered by proof-of-human-work is still up 36% over the last month while offering validators a high double digit yield.
Quantum resistant cryptos have also performed incredibly well with #QRL up 165%.
#Privacy coins have also performed above average.
Decentralized ID, #quantum resistance and privacy are areas in which crypto has the potential to counter the relentless onslaught coming from the technocratic structure that pushes for #digitalID and other systems aiming to enslave us.
They tried to trap the liquidity in the meme casino at the start of the bull market but ultimately real value will shine while vanity projects gets slaughtered.

Just to be clear I’m not saying that ZCash privacy is overall superior to Monero privacy as I believe that volume of private transactions is an important factor (as far as I know Monero dwarfs ZCash in this regards) and certainly for careless users, Monero offers better guarantees but I think both approaches present tradeoffs to balance privacy and auditability. Monero could have chosen not to make this tradeoff.

That’s a fair point however based on what you said, it seems that the wallets are the culprits and not the protocol itself. Unless you tell me that ZEC can only be acquired in a public address before being shielded (which I don’t think is the case).

Also to play Devil’s advocate one could say that using ZCash private addresses only is more private than using Monero because there is no vector attack for a third party to request the de-anonymization of a user transactions history. If you unshield some of your funds in ZCash you still keep your transaction history private while if you share your view key you share all your transactions history with the third party. This is a bit of a theorical scenario but worth considering.

I can see how in practice a much larger portion of ZCash users would use public addresses than Monero users would share their view key. I also see how sharing view keys with one party is different from transacting in clear and making it available to all but it seems to me that a user who would want to acquire ZCash privately and never unshield his funds would not compromise his privacy more than someone using Monero without sharing his view key. I think Monero’s approach values privacy to a greater degree than ZCash does but it’s possible and not that complicated for someone that would want his transactions to remain private to achieve this goal with ZCash (so I think saying that ZCash is public by default is a bit of an unfair claim). Although I see the use case for view keys I also think that it opens a attack surface for a third party to force the de-anonymization of their users.

I’ve never used ZCash but my understanding is that you can choose to only use private addresses (tell me if I’m wrong here). But exchanges force people to use public addresses. My point being that I don’t see what would prevent exchanges to push a similar request on their users by forcing them to share their view key. Although, I agree that it’s not the same as sharing your transactions with everybody, in practice it could lead to the same outcome as regulators could force exchange to collect and share the chain transactions of their users.

#Bitcoin price forecast update:
$BTC broke some key levels on this dump that were important for the bulls to defend. There is still a bull case to be made (Path 2) but the probability for it to play out is significantly reduced (25%). Dipping below $90,672 would reduce its probability to under 10% and this bull path would be fully invalidated at $75,017.
Path 1 is the most likely scenario with 65% chance of playing out. This path consists in a long sideway consolidation (probably past 2029) within a 80% or so range between $70K and $135K. Because of its corrective structure, this path could take a multitude of shapes between these two levels. in this scenario, it’s still possible for BTC to put on a new ATH. Even if we don’t put a new ATH it’s more likely than not that we’ll revisit the region of the last ATH. So far, there is no hard invalidation for this scenario but reaching $119,261 before the end of November will have me reduce its probability in favor of the bull case.

Anything is possible but I would be surprised if we don’t revisit below 90s maybe not on this swing but likely on the next one… My assessment is solely based on what I see on the chart though. One can always come up with a rational to support the bull or bear case.

At this point I would be very surprised if anything more bullish than Path 1 plays out. Path 1 allows (but does not guarantee) for a higher high but that’s one you may want to sell into if we get it.

#Bitcoin can’t be printed but it can be lended which is a softer way to inflate the supply of #BTC available to be sold on the market. Those who have invested in Bitcoin for its scarcity but hold their assets with a custodian that lend their BTCs are totally missing the point.
