the first two pictures are also broken. WordPress seems to be interpreting the full URL as a relative link instead.

I'm reading the earlier episodes of the blog series, and I noticed some of the pictures are broken there.
For example, the pictures of the large SO(4) subgroup in the first post points to https://i0.wp.com/math.ucr.edu/home/baez/mathematical/egan_dodecahedral_harmonics/SixHundredCellL60.gif which should probably be a direct linkt to https://math.ucr.edu.

hosting is on our own infrastructure in datacenters in Amsterdam. And of course, SURF has been Owncloud instances for Dutch universities for data storage for ages, with the same public values in mind.
