Also zero metadata (boost/zap) information; can't tell who sent what; possibly the intention of the app or the long standing issue with keysend & LNURL and wallets. Slick app, has issues from my brief skim through & observational view (I could be wrong though).

I've been questioning the value for value model, not just within music, as a whole. I'm coming to a personal realization that if the 'value' is set to $0.00, most listener's will add $0.00 value back.
That isn't sustainable. It's a broken model that, IMO, requires a revision.
If everything is 'free' it really isn't 'free' as someone used their time and money to invest in a 'product' and time is an invaluable yet highly tangible thing.
I'll let Gene Simmons point of few things out (if he knew of value-4-value, he would rightfully laugh all the way to the bank).

A reason maybe that none of the v4v music shows are in the top 10, 20 or 30 of 'top episodes' or 'top shows' at the moment.
Seems to me, it's all algorithmic by design, though I may be wrong.
If you looked at Wavlake's top 40 ( and you do not need to log in), it's shows a totally different list.

I'm personally wanting to reach out to artists that I come across on the standard platforms (Spotify/YT, Bandcamp) whose music I find quite funky & cool, yet they have smaller followings and from the research I've done, they're independent artist's.
What holds me back is fashioning an appropriate reach out email. Explaining the 4v4 space (that's isn't complicated), it's an alternate revenue stream.
I can easily explain Bitcoin & where they can host their music (Fountain/Music Side Project, Wavlake); I don't pick sides with where to host, it's up to them. Bitcoin (that's the value mechanism used) & they can do whatever they'd like with their revenue earned (hold it or convert it cash).
What holds me back is the NOSTR element, I think it's unnecessary at the moment, personally and adds another layer of complexity to creatives.
They want to make music, have people hear & enjoy it and garner more exposure.
IMO, this needs to be a simplified and easier process, and that is how I would approach it. I wouldn't bombard them with too much tech, that can come later & if they're interested.

Nope. I just test boosted to a Longy track I played a couple of episodes back & it shows up as a boost to the show with no artist or song listed on helipad.
Live? No idea, don't listen to live via fountain.

When a track is played on an episode & boosted via fountain, it goes to the track, however, it doesn't show up in helipad & the music podcast host has no way to know someone received value from the track played.
So, yes, you got my roundabout point.

What is the value and/or purpose of a value-4-value music podcast playing tracks from various #v4vmusic artists if 90% of people are using the Fountain app and are nostr adjacent?
The music podcaster(s) isn't aware someone heard a track on their show & gave it value because we're not able to see the value splits and what track(s) was boosted?
Possibly a problem is the track-list & chapters noted on the episodes within Fountain?
Or a TLV issue?
Or, music podcasts are irrelevant?

In my non-musician POV, this would require a 2-3+ hour phone conversation.
First, what's Primal? Oh, it's a decentralized relay that some people use on this thing called nostr.
What's nostr? A decentralized social media platform/protocol that uses different relays to communicate with user's, it's glitchy at times and doesn't always communicate well, but, there's like 4000 people using it intermittently. We're also Bitcoiner's, so user's can "zap" your note with sats....
What's Bitcoin and what are zaps?
Bitcoin is digital currency & sats are tiny amounts of a whole Bitcoin..... *eye's glaze over*
See how this goes? For you, it wasn't this way, for most other musicians, it is; they want to create music & share it, simply.
How this happens, I'm not sure, and I'm 100% sure it needs to be simplified.
A possible side-step to simplify, possibly introduce him to @nprofile…zuzl or @nprofile…829g ?

Why are there no chapters showing up on @nprofile…am06 episodes? They were available before 🤷‍♀️
If there are no chapters, specifically on music podcasts like @nprofile…xlvw, then the show creator has no idea someone sent in a boost & message to a specific artist because the boost goes to the artist in the playlist specific to that episode, unless the booster has their own node and can support/boost from any other any P2 . 0 app.

The problem is that bitcoin used to be punk rock, and it hasn't been punk for atleast 4 -5 year's now.
It used to be the middle finger to the big conglomerates, governments, corporations and all other institutions.
Then, the conglomerates, governments, corporations and other institutions came to bitcoin. The suits were at the gate and many Bitcoiner's welcomed them in; gleefully, greedily, for more exposure and "influence."
Then it was co-opted by the influencers and their desire for attention, status, self promotion masterbation, and, to pump their bags, all for the cause, their personal cause of pseudo famedom.
One can @ these OG's & bigger accounts "till the cows come home," just don't expect anything in return. They're here to hear themselves talk, and nothing more.
Keep pushing forward, don't expect anything. Organic growth takes time and has the most rewarding fruits.

What Salty is not saying & I'm happy to,, is that a lot (high % it's all of it), of the AI music being uploaded to Wavlake is being created by Bitcoiner's who have no idea what the difference is between sound & music.
It's not a filter issue, is an intelligence issue (it's also for engagement farming).
