Ja, 2014 hätte die Schweiz 🇨🇭 die Chance gehabt, den Gold-Standard zu retten. Aber nein, der Durchschnitts-Schweizer hat lieber der Nationalbank vertraut als dem gesunden Menschenverstand. Am 30. November 2014 haben sie die Initiative mit über 77 % Nein-Stimmen regelrecht beerdigt. Kein einziger Kanton hatte den Mut für ein Ja!
Das war eine moralische Bankrotterklärung der "Midwits", die noch immer ernsthaft glauben, bedrucktes Papier sei mehr wert als die Gesetze der Physik.
Vielleicht wenn wir damals schon begriffen hätten, dass es ein digitales Gold gibt, das keine Masse hat, durch Mathematik begrenzt ist und sogar das Stromnetz stabilisiert, wer weiß schon, vielleicht wäre diese Abstimmung nicht so krachend gescheitert. Die Physik lügt nicht, aber das Abstimmungsergebnis von damals zeigt: Wir haben uns selbst schachmatt gesetzt, während die OGs schon lange wussten, dass dieses Fiat-System längst am Ende ist.

Yes, I have been deep in the vibe coding rabbit hole fora couple of weeks.
I am behaving like an addict: skipping lunch, missing the gym, and caught in a constant loop of how to improve.

Ok, I figured out how to zap in @npub1yzv…rf8q with @npub1kva…tkzv over @npub19hg…yv9p , first I have to create an invoice, it's not like the one-click workflow I was used to in @npub142g…xrj0 😱
Also no transaction history and balance in N/A in YakiHonne build in wallet management. 🤔
Is that as it's supposed to work?

We tried the app both on his iPhone and the desktop version on his laptop. I suspect his operating system (OS) and browser were outdated. Updating the software really should have been the first step, but since his hardware wasn't the latest, the entire process became too clunky and tedious to overcome the initial sign-up barrier. He's now back to focusing on his live performances, convinced that this is the only way for a guitar musician to make a living.

I recently tried to 'orange pill' and 'purple pill' a friend who's a talented musician, but it didn't work out. The main problem was the overwhelming technical complexity for him. We hit a wall in the very first step already trying to get @nprofile…jy0c up and running smoothly on his Mac and iPhone.

I guess, the initial results seem positive: 88 new followers due to the #zapvertising campaign on @nprofile…9sqw, so far.
However @nprofile…eerj isn't it key that on Nostr, the interaction rate (zap, comments and reposts) is ultimately a more valuable metric than the raw follower count?
