I’ve had a lot of luck with synthetic.new standard plan… sounds like they may have close sign ups though.
Pretty huge cap on requests that works out to be cheaper than the API and MiniMax works well. Mixed results with k2.5

I was totally confused by the association of clawdbot/moltbot/openclaw to Mac mini purchases.
It’s not free. It’s not sovereign. It’s definitely not secure.
It’s flexible. And it’s going to be a gateway to people running their own sovereign services.
If I could nip-46 the permissions for everything my agent is working on I would feel a lot more comfortable… most people in the US don’t even know that’s possible.

Not sure I get the question - openclaw is using nostr as a communication (chat) interface but it is a small part. It does have MANY options to do the same thing. Nostr should be the easiest to spin up but I’ve been having issues and am not super excited given it’s using NIP-04

Totally agree. To add to this, one of the best “why bitcoin” books is “your money not your life”. Basically the origin book for the FIRE movement.
No one seems to recognize it as that, but there is literally a whole investment section where the author states that they don’t know what to recommend. TBills used to be the recommended savings instrument, but now you have to invest - at least you can invest in stocks that align with your personal ethos.
ChatGPT even told me “Earlier editions heavily promoted buying T-Bills yourself rather than through a broker, to reinforce the philosophy of direct, simple money management.”

#shopsmallbusiness Saturday is was first started by AMEX, but this is the perfect year to use it as a day to save credit card fees and get small businesses onto bitcoin. I’m going to use this as an opportunity do a better job at asking square terminal owners if they accept bitcoin as I shop around town.

And that is a big IF! I don’t have concrete data to show that this is happening systemically, but it does deal like every direct deposit is lower in the morning when I wake up than when it was purchased. Only anecdotal.

I typically don’t zoom in this far on the chart, but if high frequency traders can time the market and make bitcoin 1% more expensive for every buy on a systematic schedule then there is less advantage in feeless purchases via direct deposit. Users on a schedule are just paying the fee to high frequency traders instead of river/cashapp.
I don’t trust myself to set accurate targets and to consistently buy, which is why I think an automatic time delay would potentially be a good solution

Exact timing of cashapp direct deposit (at midnight eastern). Really feels like folks on common direct deposit schedules are a potential target for high frequency traders.

It may be, but nostr could be an interesting proving ground for various implementations that could be implemented in bitcoin. Low risk to test different schemes on nostr in case it suddenly becomes real

I am a python dev and probably can’t offer much support (also very busy at work), but am glad to beta test, raise issues, and generally help with GitHub management like reviewing issues in the free time I can find. Probably no more than a few hours a week. Let me know if any of that sounds useful!
