Those corporations owning the data centers must be required to pay the costs of energy production and distribution needed for the data centers. The general public should not be subsidizing the corporate responsibility by accepting rate increases to pay these costs. Same for water and land and environmental protections.

There is so much that the Israeli government could be doing to knock down apartheid and build respect for the Palestinian people while pushing back on terrorism. But the Israeli government doesn’t act constructively. They encourage tribalism where an “other” is required in order to feel strong, falsely.

It’s really surprising to me to learn that the country has been taken over by the ultra-right wing of the Catholic Church. For most of the life of this nation the Catholics were out of favor, prejudiced against by the Protestants and Humanists populating the colonies and states. Very interesting how the Catholic Church has such an ability to return to power and hold power. It just demonstrates how important is the separation of church and state.
